In the word سَلَاسِلَ , the alif is nor pronounced when continuing and stoping because it is "Alif Mustadir".

In hafs, there are different ways of reading it. In the way of shaatibi, you can pronounce the alif when you stop or turn the ل into a sukoon.

I noteed also that the circle on that word isn't like the other "7 elifs"

JazakAllah khayr but I'm still confused they both sound the same when you continue an stop?

Salam, one is extended and the other is shortened. For example, Laa Kinnaa (with extended 'aa' at the end) if decided to stop reading at that word. Or Laa Kinna (shortened 'a' at the end) if decided to continue reading onto the next word.
