- On a dark and dreary day, buses and other traffic negotiating a water main burst alongside Filton aerodrome opens this video, before it becomes brighter for a ride on a bus into The Centre and beyond. By the time we return to Filton, it is magically winter!
I was a conductor at muller road depot in the late 60s and worked on these buses. gives me goose bumps seeing this !!
Now that’s nostalgia! I commuted between Whitchurch and Filton on the number 3 bus throughout the 60s
fascinating to see the landscape back then, I grew up in Filton in the 80s so it was great to see a familiar route down to the town centre .
Same
What memories! I guess this is 1972/3 - I was a regular traveller on the Number 3 in those days.
Great I was raised in Filton we would catch the No5 bus to Broadmead with my mother in the 60's or the No 236 which went through St Pauls to town.
This certainly takes me back in time! Thank you.
Hmm, l enjoyed that. Brought back many memories.
I don't think I'd want to see today's Bristol...
4:15 That's Stan Butler's bus. Number 11 to the cemetery gates. ;)
Too dark to be bothered to watch . . .
