Thank you for all of this!! As a Disabled person who has been screaming about this for 4 years, it’s so so deeply validating to hear other people talk about this. Makes me feel seen and supported. Thank you so much!! 💛
Thank you for the information on Covid and how it’s still important to mask and how we’re still in a pandemic. You definitely inspire me to keep masking and to keep myself and those around me safe ❤
Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to shed light on the reality of where we are with Covid right now. With all the gaslighting out there, this dose of Real fed my soul. Cheers for all you do!
Really great video, thanks for making it. Been struggling a lot lately because I've decided to cut off a few friends that are just acting like the pandemic doesn't exist, and have called me paranoid or straight up blocked me for asking that they start masking again. It sucks, but ultimately I don't feel comfortable being in community with people who don't care about their own, and I'm really grateful that I've been able to find friends that are as passionate about being Covid-conscious as I am. I've gotten Covid twice and thankfully, no Long Covid yet, but I also live with my grandparents (one of whom has an autoimmune disorder and will likely die if they get Covid) so this is something that I care a lot about.
Yeah I definitely relate to this quite a bit. My social circle has shrunk immensely (or moreso, a lot of my friendships are "on hold" in my mind) for this reason. The pandemic has been a giant paradigm shift for me, and I find my values not really aligning with a lot of the people I was once close with. Hopefully you and your grandparents stay safe! Thanks for watching :)
Wow, thank you for this. This week/month so far has been tough watching people I know participate and organize for pride who only consider covid safety/covid care as an afterthought if at all. I can really feel and care and intention you put into this video 🥲
I found this video from a cc community. I dont use tik tok or IG. Thank you for being cc & explaining your reasoning behind it so clearly. The links in the comments are excellent. Best wishes
Thank you for this video!! Couldn’t agree more and I wish more people cared for themselves and their communities. I wear a mask everywhere I go indoors because I don’t like risking my life when I already have a passing out condition. I have posted a few TikTok videos and only a few ig stories about experiences with being Covid cautious and I have received positive and supportive feedback but still no one wears a mask… even like in high risk situations like a plane or grocery store. It baffles me. I had a traumatizing experience when Covid broke out and not feeling safe for months because of my living situation and I became the bad guy because I wanted to be safe. I live in an rv now so I’ve been able to see various cities and how many people mask; it’s typically just me haha. Anyways thanks for sharing this!!👏👏
Thank you for speaking on this!! Keep it up 🫶🏼 I just joined a clean air startup in Los Angeles, woot! ☁️ I’d def be interested in a video apartment tour and your vinyl collection.
I do agree that the switch up was crazy, especially for me. I stood inside all of 2020 into 21 staying inside and masking until I couldn’t do it anymore. For me it was a point of my mental health. I chose ignorance instead of my safety and the safety of others after a year of going out. I mask as much as I remember to but I for sure want and will mask more. These conversations need to be had in order for people to get it and make a change. Also it’s so nice to hear about places that give masks out for free bc we could all use a bit of help 😩
Yeah free access to masks is definitely a game changer for sure! And yeah I feel ya, the mental toll of being isolated for so long was definitely real! Happy to have these conversations so we can all do better.
Totally relate to not having stopped masking at any point but being really lax about it and not realizing how harmful activities like dining indoors can be. Once I started looking into the science it was such a snowball effect where I learned a lot in a really short time. Now I can’t imagine partaking in activities the way I was like a year ago. Thank you for speaking up about it!

💯% to all of the above 🙌🏼
Yeah I feel this heavy, especially with the history of the LGBTQ+ community and deadly viruses. I expect better.

Thanks for sharing! It's definitely tough navigating these situations and feeling like the odd one out for taking these very basic precautions!

Thank you! And ooo that's so exciting, hope that goes well!

Thanks for watching! Sounds like we had very similar experiences!
Thank you so so so much for speaking about long covid you got it spot on!! Thank you thank you thank you🙏
Thank you for watching! Glad that the video resonated 💖
Looking forward to the apartment tour. I'm finally investing in decorating myspace more. COVID has really turned me into even more of a homebody
It's up on my channel now! ☺ And agreed, definitely much more of a homebody than I was before. Wishing you the best with decorating your space!
The variants can be worse than the original covid.
