Althea should have told Jade about her ex husband and child. I would not blame Jade if she walked away from Althea because Jade has been open and honest all along, she even told her about Paul. Althea is keeping too many things secret from Jade, that's wrong on every level.
Jam Come on, she tried. Jade had so much unrelenting drama going on though she never got her moment to slip it in. It was not an effort to decieve her I think, just shitty timing and judgement.

I only recently found this series and have been quite hooked. The drama never seems to let up and the crying, good lawd! I'm slightly ashamed to say its had me in puddles along with the actresses at times. All this despite the infuriatingly accurate representations of all-consuming patriarchy that, unfortunately. still exists in some cultures even today. Maybe it's also a cultural thing why Jade keeps apologising so much, well she and her mother. And I cannot fathom why she allows her father to wreck the level of havoc in her life that he does, to the point that he sends someone to kidnap her, attack her and her gf, sell her out to any man who can manage to turn her, and all so bold-facedly done that if they were to go to the authorities or even the UN (as Althea did in ep 23 or 24) they would have to take action. I also cannot understand why Jade did not come out and tell Gab and her mother why she chose to go on television. While her mother might just have stuck to the nonsensical monologue that her father was just doing what was best for the family and because he loves her (good lawd the insanity of that p.o.v!), at least Gab would have gotten it and not seen her as being selfish. Now they are throwing the abusive Tommy into the mix, and potentially thinking about getting into bed with him (as far as concocting a scheme to get Oscar's offered 100m pesos). Have mercy! I dunno how much more I can take.

sinang binlak honestly I paused watching the series just on the episode when Jade marries whatshisname (episode 35 or so I think). I could not take the depth of deciet of her father, grandfather and fiance to have contrived the whole thing. Needed an emotional break from it before moving on with the remainder of the series. So no, notwatching it again, just not watched the rest yet.

I stopped watching on this episode. And i tried to understand why. This been happening since. The drama of pinoy teleserye is so overwhelming and so toxic that i’m always deciding to stop. It’s like 10 continuous episodes of constant problem and sadness. Now i understood why kdrama and GAP is so successful.
