Seriously, I was horrified when Althea was engaged to another girl and my tears were flowing like waterfalls, my heart was coming out of my chest.......but when I saw the end I CALMED UP. Thank you very much for this story. We needed it.🥺💘
Athea really loves Jade, but Oskar, Jade's father, threatens her that if she meets or comes back with Jade, her daughter will be killed. Later, Athea will look for Jade after Oskar goes back on his word. I watched it about 7 years ago, only to go back and watch it again, just for fun and remembering the extraordinary Jade War and its dedication, because both of them were threatened by Oskar 😃😅

I love this series. Yes, sometimes I feel like it's dragging out drama a little too much. But it hits too close to home. I come from a very traditional asian family, so this is something I can relate to. This show is my guilty pleasure. I come back to it when I'm in the mood, and it never disappoints. I watched it 2 years ago, so I almost forgot everything that happened, so it felt like watching it for the first time again. Anyways, despite all the drama, all the heartache, all the toxic relationships, I still enjoy this a lot. I feel like they did a good job talking about how hard it can be to gay or lgbt in a lot of Asian countries. It also did a good job tackling serious issues like lgbt people's suicide rate, violence and discrimination against lgbt people, domestic abuse etc etc. One thing I didn't like is how in the beginning they kept saying that Jade was gay because she got "influenced", even the rich woman who was in love with the female chef said that. Another thing was Wila and Batchi, their relationship feels rushed, it feels like the writers just wanted them to couple up for the end. Either way, I liked how they established in the end that you should accept your children even if you don't understand it, even if you wish deep down that they weren't who they were. And how sometimes we don't understand how much someone means to us until we lose them. And that romantic love can be found in many ways, it's very different for different people. Look at Grandmother, Gabriel, Paul and Jade for example. And way too many lessons to write in a single comment, so I'll just leave it here
Anyways, loved it so much, I'M GONNA MISS JATHEA SO MUCH! it was perfect for me, since I love angst and tragedy. I hope to find something like this to watch again. If anyone has any recommendations, you're welcome to let me know

It's already 2024, but I'm still here. I'm incredibly thankful for this show because I learned and realized a lot of things in every aspect of our lives. I finished it in just 2 days without any sleep HAHAHAHAHA. My emotions were all over the place, but there were more tears, and I can say that every episode was an emotional rollercoaster. I had to repeat from beginning of the episode again in 2022 each time I come online on RUclips I can’t help but watch it have so many lessons to learn not just about the LGBT world too.
Only painful part was Paul loosing his life I felt so much pain watching that episode but, is very necessary that part was shown because many people are committing suicide becos of acceptability of being gay .
David is such a nice man but he was allowing himself to be used at first because of the feelings he had got jade.I am glad he realized being selfish and being in a relationship with someone who doesn’t love you is a waste of time and choose to walk out himself instead of waiting for jade to make that move.
Jade would have still being in a loveless marriage with David instead of filing for a divorce she still have not gotten the strength to fight am glad David help her do it.
And am glad that Althea despite everything that she went through in the hands of jade father still went back to her greatest love.
They deserve each other and they need to be happy together I know David we find someone who will love him back because he is a nice man and knows how to take care and pay attention to a lady.
The finale made me cry, It was such a great movie, thanks for the providing the English subtitles so I could understand. Love all the way from Ghana (Africa)

Everyone knows me know that ph 's teleserye is not my cup of tea. I usually watch US tv shows but I watched and finished this gem like a year ago and I have never been so proud. The views has me everytime. ONLY GMA Network has the guts to create such masterpiece. ABS fan ako noon pero I bigtime respect and stan GMA for creating and producing this show back then, raising awareness and real-life depiction on what it's like to be part of the LGBTQIA+ community dito sa Pilipinas. Done re-watching this masterpiece🙌🏻🤍 Rhian Ramos is a great and talented actress. She really gave justice to Jade's character and i couldn't even imagine someone doing this great the way Rhian did. She nailed it!🤍
This become my favorite show even though there were some parts that frustrate me I enjoy it very much.
I feel empty after finishing it but at the same time I'm so happy to see Jade and Althea finally together.
Their love is so special, they are meant to be together and they are soulmates.
Thank you for this amazing serie, it make me realized a lot of things and made me stronger.
I hope I can fight like Jalthea did for their love.

I know this is an old series but I recently completed watching all the episodes I must say I have never watched anything that drags all my emotions on every episode this was well written it brings a few issues that some ppl are facing mental issues domestic violence ppl not being accepted because of who they choose to love this was well put together the cast was perfect love how they did it so not only the older audience can watch but younger as well I really hope the writers and cast was recognized for this because this is a story that will always help someone out there facing different issues and to let them know they are not alone and speaking up and fighting for what they believe in is So possible this is definitely A series I would recommend watching 👍🏼

Wow I can't believe this is my first time watching this masterpiece I'm ashamed it took me this long I just didn't expect it to be THAT good. Tbh I'm not a fan of soaps I watched a few but they tend to get boring, dragged on with meaningless drama and characters always breakup for no reason other than writers want drama. but in TRMD I haven't felt bored for a single second, the drama fits perfectly, the story is amazing, if you're from Asia or middle east you'll find it hits too close to home sometimes its even hard to watch bec you could relate alot. I've never seen perfection such as what Rhian and Glaiza portrayed. in sapphic roles its always one more beautiful, more gorgeous, more talented, more into character but here they were equally matched in EVERYTHING. The chemistry was electrifying, you could feel it all just through eye contact, hand holding or hugs, the amount of efforts it took them to show emotions just through those gestures speak about how amazing actresses they are. Wish there was another part, would love to see them together in anything. Thanks to writers and creators for taking a chance and showing this masterpiece its going to be appreciated forever. THANK GOD they ended up together I'd be traumatized otherwise lol

Just finished watching the whole story.. Ang ganda! Im not a member of LGBT but i was moved with the story. Sobrang pinipigilan ko talaga ang maiyak sa mga eksena. Ang sakit sa dibdib lalo na nung nagpanagpo sila Kathlyn, Jade at Althea, "Nung ready ka, hindi pa ako ready, at nung ako naman yung ready na, di ka naman pwede." Grabe ang sheket nern.. 😭 But in the end sila pa rin talaga. Sabi nga ni Althea "kung tayo talaga, love will find its way" naks.. Bihira lang ako magcomment sa ganito.. Wow this series has been an emotional roller-coaster. At some point I thought they wouldn't end up together. But I'm glad they finally found their way back to each other, although we didn't get to see much of their happy moments.
My heart didn't break or hurt until I saw that ring on Althea's hand, I felt true and honest pain at that point because I that hurt that she did everything and well.............
