There's no way both Prince mush has Master's attack combo AND A WHACKA BOSS.
I love how the Whacka boss fight became canon in the remake of the Thousand-Year Door.

Riddle me this: as someone not familiar with paper mario 64 mods, what's the deal with the unstable star? And, assuming that's the first boss, why the -8 hp per turn on mario?
The unstable star is one of the optional final bosses in the mod. It exerts immense pressure onto anything around it because it can't contain it's own power. The -8 hp happens every couple of seconds and it's just a mechanic that was added specifically for that fight to make it difficult.

@@cmanhanks1 On G+B, Mario has -1 HP per second. The Unstable Star is based off of time, not turns.

Look, Whacka had to get their revenge eventually.
I started a curse only run (as soon as you get it permanent 1.5x) and I'm up to chapter 4 in 27 hours of gameplay. Stuck on trying to find a solution to the anti-guy, not even on the boss yet which has an anti!
That's tough because you don't even have much for damage mitigation at that point. Have you tried double dipping shrooms cakes with a volt shroom?
@BertBro Yeah, stellar guard seems really good with Volt/Zap Tap to prolong some damage with shrink jump on the big hit turn. I overleveled to 13 and about to hit 14. Yummy meals is the best food item I've been able to make so far.
Honestly happy I made it this far since it's my first romhack, got stuck at the act 1 boss for longer then I care to admit.

Honestly wasn't too bad when I level capped myself and just stat checked the anti-guy.

Unstable star seems op..like you need to heal/take your turn quick and preferably use heals over time to survive?!
Heal over time does now work since the star deals 8 damage every few seconds at all times while heal overtime only happens at the start of your turn so far as I know.

Is Master 4 easier than in Master Quest in this ? Cause in Master Quest that fight was insanely hard and also very buggy.
I've never played master quest but from what I've heard, everything in master quest is more difficult, so I think it would be safe to assume that this fight is easier in dark star edition.
@@BertBro Honestly MQ is difficult in kind of stupid ways sometimes. I haven't tried Dark Star yet but from what I've seen it does seem more balanced and fair.

He's guarding and also what did you expect from an insane hard mode? Obviously he's going to take a ludicrous amount of damage
Two things:
1) To say that im inpressed with how you dealt with SSJ3 master is an understatement. I went with a Berserker × Merlee strat and simply PRAYED that it'd work xD
2) I swear for lord Nintendo reps watch these mods and say "Write that shit down, WRITE THAT SHIT DOWN"! First it was the unfair magolor, now we got this wombo combo for Prince Mush 💀
