WOW..WHAT A WONDERFUL VIDEO..I TOTALLY ENJOYED EVERY BIT OF FOOTAGE...THANKS FOR SHARING AND FOR ALL THE HARD WORK..YOU PUT INTO ENTERTAINING US...MUCHAS BENDICIONES PARA TI Y ILLIE.
Love it! Out of all the RV'ers, you're my fave, Robert! Your editing skills, the background music, your voice, the places visited---it all works together so well!🙌
Exactly! I’ve been telling him his channel is better than all RVers channels. No competition. You said it! The music is what ties it all. Thanks for commenting this. Now I know if I am weird I’m not the only one. Hard to grasp how he gets the inspiration to create those awesome tracks.
40 years ago quart-size didn't even look like it looks like today there was no Campground so you just pulled in and found a spot someplace out there in the desert. It has grown up so much now they even have a little town there now. I'm enjoying your trip
Robert you have been an inspiration to me and my wife.We found your channel last year because we were sick of supporting Hollywood. We fell in love with your videos.I have always wanted to see the west.We are leaving Aiken,S.C. memorial day headed for Yellowstone and beyond.Thank you for sharing your travels with us in a very professional format. You have to be tge hardest working you tuber out there.Godbless and Godspeed father pelicanhead lol
Buy his music. Seriously. iTunes, wherever. I promise it will make driving much better. In fact, if I’m wrong, comment back here and say I was wrong, I’ll pay for your purchase. Make sure it has Desert Rain, lofoten, foothills... it’s the last album he made has most of his tracks.
I watch you on my TV usually but I got on the computer just to subcribe and let you know how much I enjoy your blogs. I am from Indiana originally but now live in Arizona. I travel vicariously with you and enjoy it so much. Thank you for your blogs.
Nice to watch another of your videos. I've been so busy this year moving from Fairfield, CA to Yreka, CA that I haven't watched your channel much. It was so nice to see how much you like the desert. I grew up in the high desert in Reno, NV. I feel like I'm back home in Yreka as it's high desert with a smaller community like Reno was 60 years ago! I love your music too.
Well Roberts all I can say you got a good life. I'am a sailor and looking to retire soon and after I watched your RV's adventures and meeting all those friendly and wonderful folks I felt I'am on it. love your Rv trailer and and truck too, did I mention you lovely intro music.. I really love it and you got a great voice. Thanks Roberts for sharing and showing us a wonderful life around the road.!
Your driving to the west videos are my all time favorites and this latest one does not disappoint. It’s been awhile since I watched your videos and it’s like visiting an old friend to be watching the road through your truck windows.
Great video, Robert. Love seeing the scenery change as you head west. I thought those were Pasties you put in the oven, then I heard you say they were Empanadas that Ivette made for you. They looked yummy. Fun to see Sonja, The RV DJ, doing her gig there with you guys at Quartzite. Fun seeing so many familiar faces there. Great video, Robert.
What a great time with just great people. If you have never been to Quartsite please go. It’s not the desert it’s the people. Thank you 2 everyone that supported us and had fun. Rock on!
Robert this was lots of fun! You sure know how to tell a story. I can see with this how the new Pelican spot you are developing might be your little Quartsite for friends to gather and comradeship you sometimes seek. You're so wonderfully unique in these excellent videos, taking us all with you on journeys someday we might take, or may never get a chance to go. Thanks again, very enjoyable.
Goooood morning Robert! Your opening line, "The weather, not always perfect...not in real life, anyway." really resonates with me in regards to road trips. When I first started doing cross-country trips I was kind of oblivious to the forecast but now I keep a close eye on the 10-day forecasts. I've altered my route more than a few times to avoid severe weather, but even so I've run into unexpected snow...not fun at all! Luckily I've managed to avoid large hailstorms so far (knock on wood). Happy trails!
Next time you pass through i10 texas like that if you have time you should really check out the hill country area. Tons of great outdoor things to see in the area. Garner State Park and Lost Maples State Park are two of the best in the state.....if you are looking for great towns over there I'd recommend a stop in somewhere like Fredericksburg. Tons of little things to do there. Happy Trails Robert!
A good review with some new great scenes . I had forgotten how wet it was. Looks like an awesome group of friends at Quartsize. It wouldn't be Sunday without one of your videos. Thanks for all you do!
1:25:00 -Take a drink every time the guy says Airstream. I don’t understand why people with Airstreams call them Airstreams and not just a camper. People with top end coaches don’t say: “I put fresh water in my Prevost today”. Another great video Robert! Thanks for sharing!
Oh my God‼️ it is so much different than it was years ago used to take your trailer out and just find a place to park and Park. Then the biggest thing was getting to know the people that were there which was usually the same people and hunt rocks
The video content and all the wonderful people you interact with here made this one of the most beautiful experiences I have ever had on the Tube. Thank You so much Sir. Live Simply and Be Grateful. I wrote it down.
Thank you again Robert for sharing your journeys with us. My wife and I love them. We see places we would like to go from watching your videos. Love the comradery with other RVers. That place is HUGE. Did you say they have water and electric sites? We have family in Kingman Az just a hop away. Oh by the way, I have never seen ham and eggs cooked the way you cook them. We ate going to try that with salsa and pepper jack cheese mixed in. Looking forward more of your videos. Safe travels
Ahh Stephen that's awesome! Were there any places from your full-time RV life that really resonated with you? Travel is our primary passion, and it's so fun learning from seasoned experts and learning their thoughts! 😊
Beautiful! Rain and all!!💧☔I must admit, your filming between Ft. Stockton and El Paso, TX. looks so much exciting and adventurous the second time around!! Love the rock formations on the steep rolling hills- my favorite part! I'm glad that you've made encounters with your friends(that are famous by now) and had a very nice time!🪑🪑🔥🍖🥩🔥🪑🪑 🌵🌵 I enjoyed it very much!!💕💖💚🧡💛
Hi Robert, we are making the trek to Q in January of 2022. Sure hope to see you there as it was great fun to see you in Motana. We have the Lance you stepped inside!
Hello Traveling Robert😊😊🎸🎸🎵🎵, I have really enjoyed the journey with the drive from Florida to Quartsite! Hopefully the weather will be much better on the journey back. I enjoyed every bit of footage at Quartsite! Looking forward to the journey, driving to the east. Great video Robert👍👍!
Robert, your great outlook and good mood sets the tone.. ive never seen you get upset in any videos, even though you had cause to. You add your own music, wonderful tunes that you compose. You cook. Need i say more? You respect other content creators and you're just an all around nice guy.. love tuning in and watching..😊😊😊😊😊
I just love your videos some of my favorites. It's nice when you bring us inside your RV at times to see you cooking, etc. Just bout my very first RV it's a mobile home older one 1987. I'm fixing it up now and hopefully this fall will have it on the road. All inspired by some of my favorite travel youtubers.
Wonderfully edited and presented Robert. I really like your song derest rain its very good. I love how USA RVers are like a tribe. Quartside looks like a blast. A community. The derest bar looks great.
Hi Robert, I heard someone say RainX For your windshield. Here is a tip. Squirt it in with your window washer fluid tank. It does not leave as bad of a haze on the windshield as applying it with a sponge or a towel does. That's what we did with our fire engines. Happy traveling buddy.
Awesome video! 📹👍 Thanks for the sharing this video with us. It made my husband and I long for the road. I wish I could be there. Arizona is BEAUTIFUL! Hopefully soon I can get on the road.
Love your 1.5 hr videos ... I can sit back and travel with you ... Thank You for the trip! Missed your work .... Trying to get things together to get out there myself
Another great video, Robert!! Spectacular scenery at 6:20 into the video between Sheffield and Ozona. Makes me want to drive I-10 from border to border! West Texas is desolate. Can't believe all the rain you hit.
Great video! It was very surprising and nice to see Mike. I miss his videos. I hope he will come back some day. Have a great day. Goldie in Jacksonville Florida
You again brought back many fond memories of my trips to Tucson, AZ. I actually stayed at that La Quinta hotel in front of the Walmart you boondocked while in Fort Stockton, TX. I usually tried to make it to Las Cruces, New Mexico but the snow and freezing temperature at that time made me stay in Ft. Stockton, TX for the night.
Taking this trip with you was fun. You did a good job of giving a sense of almost being there. I enjoy your music. I don't know if it was continuing Covid concerns, because it was the second week of the event, but it did seem to have noticeably fewer/rigs people this year. Here's to hoping life is normal come Jan. 2022.
Thank you Robert always enjoy your travels an newsletter . Always eager to see the next episodes, an love minitini lounge nites, your so talented have your CD enjoy it too. at 14:20 is one of your best tracks, it sounds insanely awesome in the truck, I always turn it up, the bass hits so hard. Until your music, I never used my radio.
Been watching your videos for awhile and love them. I live in San Diego. Bought a Van and heading out to Miami this October to pick up my uncle and show him the U.S. Both of us born in Cuba although I was raised in U.S.
What an interesting video loved the longer format n informal trip with breaks for the Cuban coffee n eggs . Loaded with great music compliments of Robert. The man puts a lot of work into his videos has over 100k followers so come on folks Robert should easily get 100 k views in the first few days of release. Think of the gas this man is saving us by being easy chair travelers Bill in Fort Wayne mothership land
Hey Robert, New subscriber here, everyone has talked so much about Quartzite but you are the first person who has actually videoed it. Very nice drone footage, great video Thanks.
Robert you must not have realized that you can bypass Metro Phoenix now. The Bypass is the 202 and you catch it around the Gila River casino 28:10 it goes around south Mtn and meets back up at the I10 around 59th Ave. Metro Phoenix avoided!
Arizona is actually quite mountainous...it goes deserts, mountains, deserts, mountains...Grand Canyon, desert, mountains. So forth. One of the most beautiful hikes I have ever done was in the St. Francis range outside of Flagstaff where all the beautiful pines were!
Awesome job! Was great seeing Sonja The RV DJ! I'm so far behind on your 2020/21 videos now. I have a whole day of down time this week so maybe I can get caught up!
ive lived in arizona for 50 years...we have monsoon season in the summer and then a rainy season again in the winter...we have been in a drought for awhile and rain has been sparse...the desert welcomes all that comes our way
Yo, Traveling Robert, I have a hunch we'll cross paths now and then after I hit the road in about 5 months....Just sold my FL home on Boatdrinksasota Bay, paid off all debts, traded in my '07 Taco for a '19 Tundra.....Next up, Gulfstream Vintage Woodie 19RBS travel trailer, full time nomad living....Renting back home to give me time to clear out all of my clutter/stuff until October....Mostly, for first year or so, will explore this sandbar called Florida down to the Keys.....Will probably get in a couple road trips out west to visit family/friends (CA, NV, CO) every year....Also, have family in NH & TN........Have really enjoyed your vids....subscribed a few months ago.... Happy trails, buddy.... ;o)
Wow Robert! That was an awesome long video! Had to stop, take a break and make a drink! Rain and stormy weather ruined our camping/boating week-end trip to the lake with the kids so I'm happy I had your sneak peak video to watch today. Plus now I can sleep in on Sunday! LOL! Jose' still needs to watch it. Great views from Quartzsite and so cool meeting up with all those other RV RUclipsrs. We follow some of them as well, but you are absolutely our favorite! :) I can see why you enjoy going there. Such a fun time! Super cool schoolie bus! Amazing Arizona sunsets!!! Oh and I see you baked the empanadas! Hope they were good that way :) BTW, curious if this is what inspired you to write the song "Desert Rain"? Because of all the rain you've encountered every time you have visited Quartzsite? :) It's such a nice calming song.
Wow, I seen something in that Koa in Lordsburg that I haven't seen in many a year. I remember over fifty years ago my dad would paint the bottom of the trees white to keep insect from killing them. That's keeping the memories alive. Thanks.
Thank you so much brother Robert for this wonderful video I love how you blended it into quartzsite hope you and your wife are doing very well looking forward to more videos to come God bless 🤓 happy 20/21
Yep. Some parts are exactly the same. For instance, at the 1:00:20 mark Robert runs into the same family that are wearing the same clothes at the same place as in the 2020 video. With thousands of hours of footage to deal with, things like this are bound to happen. TR is just trying to make sure we’re paying attention! 😊
The mountains and the landscape is beautiful, too bad that there for a while they had all those billboards, I didn't realize how much railroad traffic there was till I saw your video !!
You look like you were having lots and lots of fun I hope you enjoyed everything that you did fun I'm have to do that so stay station be careful out there
Good morning Robert thanks for another video I'm surprised new mexico and Arizona land looks like Zacatecas land where I born thanks again keep doing this videos
Maybe next year I will go to this event in southwest Arizona. Lived and seen the Flagstaff and I 40 parts. Never been down in the valley side. Thanks for sharing.

Robert do you have any plans of visiting Sun Valley Idaho? I looked through your videos but can’t find one?

When you were at my rv, I ran those battle born batteries down to 20% also. Now with 1480 watts in panels they recharge very fast, even on gloomy days

Cool video thanks for sharing enjoyed seeing the different areas. I have that same problem with our detector when using the kitchen stove.
The song...Driving to the west ..is addictive...loving it so much from 2018 Pacific trip... May be due to the impressive landscape too

When the alarm goes off just press the button and hold it in until it does a quick chirp, this will reset the unit.
My only travel suggestion when on I-10 Spend a night at the Las Cruces KOA. Awesome views and oh so much nicer than Lordsburg Great video Roberto!!!
How were those delcious looking empanada’s? You crack me up with that smoke alarm going off🤣 Envy this drive.. someday.

Desert Rain was inspired by the 2019 trip... it also rained a lot.
Crazy long video. Happy to always see your travels. I’m surprised you didn’t separate this into 2 videos.
Thank You Robert for making these videos, Hope to do quartzite one day..
Amazing video, thanks Robert for such quality content. You made my day. !!
Wow, I seen something in that Koa in Lordsburg that I haven't seen in many a year. I remember over fifty years ago my dad would paint the bottom of the trees white to keep insect from killing them. That's keeping the memories alive. Thanks.
Van Horn is beautiful view there, beautiful place to stop and have your breakfast !!
My dad used to put a dishtowel over our smoke alarm when he was cooking and the alarm went off.
Beats fussing at it!
Thanks Robert. Your videos are always very cool
Thank you so much brother Robert for this wonderful video I love how you blended it into quartzsite hope you and your wife are doing very well looking forward to more videos to come God bless 🤓 happy 20/21
The Quartz site part is from 2020. I remember quite a few parts from last year.
I don’t think so. He did show parts of this video a few weeks ago. This is the long version.
This was January 2021
I'll definitely come back and check it out!🍿It's very
enjoying to watch!
Always love your videos!
Keep up the Good Work!
Having been raised in Nevada I love this part of the country and miss it terribly and I am planning on moving back !!!
Texas canyon in Arizona, it looks like a very interesting place, only in America !
The mountains and the landscape is beautiful, too bad that there for a while they had all those billboards, I didn't realize how much railroad traffic there was till I saw your video !!
You went right by my camp site when you went through Magic circle. We were parked between the first two wash’s when you came into the circle.
Looooooving this video Robert!! U are the bestest. Cheers & happy travels 👍😍💚💙
I can’t imagine driving across Texas on I 10. Maybe someday we’ll get the chance!
Hi Robert! How can you tell if a Walmart is RV friendly? By the way the empanadas looked delicious.
I'm really enjoying your trips! I can't so it's great to see things this way!!!
Driving to the west! Into the sunset!! I can’t get it out of my head.....HELP! 😎
By the album, don’t fight it. It’s better that way.
Maybe next year I will go to this event in southwest Arizona. Lived and seen the Flagstaff and I 40 parts. Never been down in the valley side. Thanks for sharing.
A great narrative! Thank you for sharing!
