I "finished" the game and was going to just keep going and doing flower and animal breeding until I realized that all I was doing was animal care on two farms (I refused to add more animals to my day with the third farm so there's nothing on that one) and absolutely nothing else because the days were so damn short, even more glaringly so than when I was actually progressing the story. I wrote to the devs more than once that this was going to kill the game if they didn't change it, so I am stoked to see they listened to the community. I will now definitely go back for the DLCs I have already bought, knowing that I can finally relax when playing this "cozy" game.
I had to stop playing Fae Farm due to the short day because it was stressing me out! I wasn't having fun. With this patch, I think I'll get back to it, maybe even start over so I can experience all the things they fixed from the beginning.
I want to put this out there. I want them to add a new feature for birthdays. We see when a npc birthday is up and there’s nothing to do for them so I wish add some type of mini game where we can make them a cake or give them a present 🎁. I do like interacting with npcs cuz of imagination and such so this can be fun and we can decorate the cake, maybe we have options to choose cake, cupcakes or cookies to gift them. Also I wish they add plushies for decoration! Idk it’s my thoughts.

I would love plushies! I would put them everywhere. I do want more furniture too. There isnt enough to decorate all the homes. I didnt even upgrade them all.

Love all the new changes. So excited for the update. The Charcuterie Board..is just a fancy word for a meat, cheese, fruit or veggie on a wooden board.

I'm definitely going to play again. I love Fae Farm but the short days grew tedious trying to get all my chores done so I could go out and adventure. Thank you for letting everyone know about these changes! Love watching your videos!! ❤
Thanks for keeping us updated! The quick days did make the game feel a lot less 'cozy' as I scrambled to do All The Things in a day so I'm so happy that there will be an option for longer days and I can be more relaxed while playing. Also NEW CLOTHES YES! XD
This will bring me back to the game. I hope they improve the npc dialogue too
I wish you could move the camera to some extent with the right joystick (on consoles) which is now unused
I am SO excited!!! I may change up the time on the days when I just want to go forage and go thru the mines! I'm still playing it pretty regularly...it's just so cozy!

Double-day length is huge for me! Main reason I took a break from FeyFarm was because of the day length being fairly quick. May definitely check it out again once implemented.

Thank goodness, i wasn’t a fan of having to stop exploring a dungeon all because i had to go to bed at midnight
OK, maybe I will play it again. I hated the flower breeding in it so much that I stopped playing it.
wow single most important change to me are the job quests - i hate hate hated having to juggle which one was active, especially the time sensitive ones like breeding new lifestock or harvesting specific crops. argh
Thank GOD about the flower genes saving in the seeds! Flowers are taking over my farm because im having such difficulty breeding them. Yes, im using your guide, which is wonderful (thank you!), but its still time consuming and tedious.

I haven’t downloaded it to my Nintendo switch not yet but since I have a steam deck, I think I’m just gonna just play the game on there. Thank you so much for the info. It’s your great help.

I stopped playing for a while a I and was disappointed in their previous update (the frog update) this one looks super promising.
Hi Jade! This is my favourite game of all time! Will there be any more updates for it? I have both the DLC's. I'm on PS5 by the way, I find the PC finger aerobics difficult :)

No updates on the animals going over the fences and bugging you when you water your crops....?
Not yet sadly but they did mention in their last live stream that they'll be working on animals in the future I think, so fingers crossed.
I'm still kinda new to the game but I Love it and play for hours! The upgrades sound great, although I wish they had more dresses
Thanks for this video. Some of the changes were really needed. I haven't played in months, I am very happy to hear about the extended days. Do you think this game will have another mine created? The world thru the frog was not exciting to me.
The last DLC disappointed me too. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the next one hoping we'll get a new dungeon.

I can't wait. I wanna put stuff on all the stuff! Also I may start a multiplayer farm with a friend. I assume we can't use our current farms for that right? I never looked into the multiplayer aspect of it.
Your friend can come to your current farm but can only progress your farm. They don't take anything back to their farm.
Oh so no point then, best to start a new one with one of us hosting to just be on the same level. My single player farm is finished. Maybe theirs isnt so I can go to that one to help her.@@JadeMistGaming
I'm so confused. Got a letter from Ginger and it said I would get a spring outfit and a new pair of wings and that I should just go to the fairy and pick them up. Once I got there she just said her usual things and I can just look in the shop. Am I missing something?
Your new outfit is the spring petal outfit that will already be in the edit outfit section of your inventory. Be sure to claim it from the letter you received. The new wings are the 6 new wings available to get from the wisp mother but you'll need all the materials to craft them from her shop. You don't get free new wings.

Won't the slow day also effect crafting? Its tied to the clock
It shouldn't affect crafting. I believe the crafting has a set amount of time to complete depending on the item. So whether the day is 18 mins or 36, an item that is, let's say, 1 min to complete should still only take 1 min regardless. Pretty sure they would mention any changes in crafting in the patch notes if it would change. ;-)

Just downloaded the demo and I am at my house but its locked and I don't know what to do. Can you tell me where the key to the door is please
Your house shouldn't be locked. It's the first place you should go to with the first quest and you walk right in.
@@JadeMistGaming Oh ignore me I was trying to get into the building beside me I didn't realise I had to go look for my house LOL. Is there anyway of showing a map while I am walking so I can see where I am going?

@@ExposedByJools Lol You're good! It's a great way to run around exploring and discovering things too. :) I was lost around the map at the beginning too but you quickly memorize where everything is soon enough. ;-)

Pretty excited about these changes. Thanks for the update! Guess I’d like to see the npc’s stop saying ugh, or grunting or whatever. They sound stupid or unmotivated. 😂 😮
Fixed clock while in menus or shops - check. Fixed targeting animals - check. Fix of day lenght - incoming. I'm so happy, they worked on the three major things that bugged me. love this game, but didn't play since the end of octobre because of these things.
i want more customization of the character. more hairs and clothing and facial feature options plsss

I love the go at your own pace do side quests, decorate etc. But I wish it explained what pieces you can put stuff on, and I wish you could put stuff on shelves. It seems you have to have recipes that are a shelf with stuff on it? The shelf is so high up and I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to put stuff on it.
Time for a replay with a lovely slllooooow day! Just wish I didn’t have to buy this game for a second time, because I have to play on PC now. 😢

It sounds like they’ve added a lot since it was free on game trial. May have to take another look
Will they be doing a child update where you can have biological or adoptable children despite the gender? Or is it already out?
Highly doubt they would introduce anything relating to raising a family. Relationship building is 100% not at it's core for this game so it wouldn't make sense to introduce that feature in this game in my opinion. The relationships already as it is are pretty dull and useless. A better new farming game that focuses more on raising generations would be Echoes of the Plum Grove if you prefer relationship building.
@@JadeMistGaming I mean, from what Reddit said that there MAYBE a hint of something like that on the way, but I'm not completely sure. Especially when I ask Google.
@@joannacaughell9243 Don't trust anything reddit says. lol The devs haven't said or hinted at any of that at all from what I know. It's a fully released game so it should have all features and gameplay mechanics in already that are intended IF something like that does ever come, I would think it's a DLC or something but honestly, it's better off without it.

Hi all, I would like to re-decorate the items outside the house, may I know how do I keep all the items in the areas and replace them back? Currently, I have to shift items one by one.
You'll have to manually move them one by one. There's no way to grab everything all at once and move them. Sorry!

After the forgettable story, garbage romances and impossible flower breeding achievement I forgot I owned this game. Passed on the dlc too. Probably won't come back. Stardew's update has me most excited. I'm also waiting for the next big Sandrock update.
I feel it's too late.
Obvious things like putting items on tables, picking up flowers shoulda been a day one thing.

I agree a little to late for me. 😢 this game was my most anticipated and was a huge let down. I've gone back to stardew valley. I can't bring myself to play fae farm is so empty and a fetch quest game.
