- Uploading this just to see how long this last before Butch Hartman, a "respected" man who "made all our childhoods" and will be so butthurt at peoples opinions that he will take down videos and block people because of them, takes this down.
I'll give it about 5 hours.
After learning the truth about this, even as a Christian, hearing this man thump bible verses after everything he has done to get here is just so downright disgusting.
HE LIED! His deceit, his manipulation, every horrible thing he's done to get here. As a Christian, it's absolutely terrible that he did this. He should have been up front about what he was doing and he should not have lied to get people's money that he apparently didn't need in the first place. It not only goes against the religion that he's so proud to poorly represent, but it is just downright immorally wrong as a basic human being on so many levels.
I hate him.

I had suicidal tendencies because of physical abuse from my parents, why is he blaming the media for suicide rates going up high and not the abusers, bullies, manipulative people who do harm? I watch a lot of shit in media and never once I wanted to throw a red turtle at someone like in mario kart or kill myself for watching horror movies!
Well, it’s actually true.
I mean, media today glorifies suicide through social media and shows like 13 reasons why. If someone with severe depression watches something like that, it influences them to do the same thing, it puts the idea into their head.
As someone who has dealt with (Clinically Diagnosed) Major anxiety and Depression, and who has attempted suicide multiple times, I can definitely attribute my knowledge of suicide from media.

don't you think it's weird he got more donations on the last day thn he got even on the first day he announced Oaxis? his initial video was trending on reddit, so it got somewhat popular. Then you can see that he went weeks without much of a substantial donation, then BAM 60k in a DAY

Butch finally admitted it’s a Christian service. it’s actually a better idea now. Before, he was selling it as a legit subscription service. It wouldn’t work. He would have to compete with Disney, Hulu and Netflix. If instead it’s a purely Christian service, he has a viable, untapped market that he could exploit. Using his fan base as a source of funding is just clever.
Especially if he had the funds to to make this plan into action from the start.
