What is the hota ubers way of keeping fury cause mine keeps dropping down then when I go to fight somebody I have to wait and use shouts like 3 times to get enough to get a hit to build it up
Hey Rob you are the GOAT, s4 was my first and im stocked for s5. I really loved the bleed bash and im glad that bash is still around for one more season at least
For people asking you need to have two pieces of gear with Fury Per Second when you switch to Verathiel. I tried running with just 1 piece of +4 Fury gear, and it wasn't enough. My biggest issue with this build is getting enough resistances. On the build draft it shows All Resistances only on chest, but that doesn't get me anywhere close. I'm running All Resists on my Chest, Legs, 3 Royal Diamonds, and I'm still sitting at 63.9% on my resistances. That's also with masterworking 4/12 on my Chest and Legs, and luckily hitting All Resistances on both.
@@VtreyusV3 you have to adapt a bit your build until you have the correct items, with gems (jewelery) and tempers (especially on chest/legs) to have resistance maxed out. Then when you get Tyrael it helps you out a lot since it has +60% resistance to all elements in itself. With a bit of tempering I believe it goes over 80%, I have 75% currenty with 6/12 Tempering

In season 4 i could kill all uberbosses on my own Witz your s4 build and easily farm pit 101. Now on eternal i need minimum double time to kill mobs, boss took too long + i died. I hope, your new build will be playable for everyone not just for ppl with very good gear. Right now i am pretty dissappointed with the changes.
Season for my barb finishes with direct damage bash build, simply because I didn't like the concept of making a rogue. Ended up with my highest hit being 240mil, not bad for a casual dad gamer?
i had this conundrum too but I discovered very quick, once you hit tier 3 and above in infernal hordes, you will start seeing many rings and amulets and gloves that increase crit chance. my crit chance is almost 70% and crit damage over 2,000%. i would recommend crit damage
Rob, I'm using Ancients Oath on my bash barb because of using steel grasp. Should I drop that for a normal slashing two hander? I can't tell which is stronger.
One thing that I think is forgotten is that the 'Shard of Verenthiel' is that it will now make basic skills cost resource and there is no resource generation. as we previously had with many rings and amulets and with the Shako. Resource Gen will not be available like it has been before. One of the benefits of the Bash Build was that it didn't cost resource and this is now a factor which takes away from this build.
Just a small question. I got Shard of Verathiel but Bash is how i built up fury to use HOTA. With Shard, I cant use bash because it costs Fury, so how are you getting around that in the video? Apologies if you did explain in the video already. Thanks!
@@philipperivest7806 update: you need equipment that brings you "fury per second" and then masterwork the hell out of it to get that number up. Rob actually did list all his builds on his link and I made a mistake in not diving deeper into it. Highly recommend it! He lays it out really well
Once you get all those things that grant berserking and increase the duration, is there any benefits at all in using the actual skill Berserking for more damage or whatever or have it ready when needed?
im wearing everything you have in the UBER HOTA version...and i have a huge problem...bash costs 25....generates 15. i cannot bash until i get hit...HELP i am wearing exactly whats in the guide
So basically, just run the same build as last season. And rotation should be Bash till 4 stacks, WC, HoTA (For Damage buff), SG, Bash til CD's are up. Repeat.
Wait, didn't the devs just before season 4 PROMISE to improve other skills and reduce Barb's reliance on multiple shouts for season 5? Because so far, we haven't really seen any changes at all to indicate just that. It's just yet another season of locking in 3 out of 6 skills for shouts and then pressing the same buttons over and over as we did last season.
honestly ... compared to s4 even when you have shard of verathiel and most shit except ubers, it deals dmg like shit ... what you are showing in this video is probably like 100x the dmg most ppl would do when they get into the build
SO by build is exactly the same, smake skills, same board, i'm using same aspects and damage is nowhere near this. Plus i haven't figured out how to use new sword, fury is 0, to hit someone you need fury, so basically i cant hit anyone.
You gotta run +Fury per second on like 2 pieces of gear or Verathiel won't work. Also he is showing the Damage numbers will using Godfather, Shako, and starless skies.

He is a barb main? With a sneak peek into other classes when they have epic builds. But he plays barb 98% of the time, why wouldn't he? There are other content creators that specialise in other classes.

How do you offset the fury cost of Shard of Verathiel on the non-Uber version? I've applied the boss killer setup and I just run out of fury.
I have the same issue, i swing 4-5 times and i'm out.
I sacrificed a few affixes to add fury per second on my boots and chest piece but it only helps ah lil
I’d like to know this too. Both the Flay and Bash Barb builds I’ve tried rely on SoV, neither generate enough fury to sustain it

I think for whatever reason it’s multiplicative (despite showing up in the description as additive) so that’s why it’s still on top

Probably not. Just like having two of the same unique daggers for rogue, that doesn't stack unique the effects.

Unconstrained passive - the way I read it - it increases berksering's damage bonus from 25% to 35%. a 10% increase. are you sure it's 25% + 35%?
