Has perfect affixes and 12/12 masterwork, sure bro LOL
same with when he showed bash hitting in hundreds of millions. my bash hits like 25mil and 45 OP
3:36 "without uber uniques, it's still pretty good at 300k hp" meanwhile used challenging shout to up hp from 250k to 300k xD
80k atk with 500k life, me with my 2 days playtime can reach that, right?
I mean 12/12 is not really hard, it just takes time and perfect affixes is easy too. The tricky part is the red star, but thats just the top of the cake. I dont really play my barb much and i still have the same items as rob without the red stars. I just need doombringer for the last unique. Helltide twink spark farm is just so easy. Everyone with a little bit of time can get all the uber uniques.

Which build is this one in the planner?
Nice tip on that Gea Kul quest for the 15% health and 20% poison resist. Runs along side your normal potion. 2 potions up at once. Who knew?? That's a HUGE tip. Thanks Rob (Make it from the "quest Elixir" drop down menu at the alchemist) Quest takes less than 5 minutes. Quest guy in the house near the stable in Gea Kul.

Ragegaming has a dps frozen or build that can kill bosses but it’s still the slowest of all characters killing wise
Barb is so much more fun then I thought it would be.
Started as a Necro, got bored after 2 weeks.
The first part of the barb leveling got me wanted to drop it since it was so slow.
But now I have soooo much fun, insane.

Yeah I think the sluggishness of Necro ruins it. Unlike in PoE, where the Witch is fast and fun.

If perfectly master worked with a GA it hits 86%. Mine is at 59% at the moment, but I haven't tried to masterwork past 8/12 yet.

pre buff what is your max life?
Even 100k base life before multipliers is absolutely insane, most other classes can barely reach 50k after multipliers.

I have 1 max roll of armor on chest(master work 10/12) ,and strength covers the rest, im actually 300 above atm because of paragon nodes, lol
9000 should be enough of a starting point, shouldn't worry to much about it and focus on life and resist more
The in-game paragon board you showed in the video doesn't have the Carnage Leg. node selected nor the Enraged node in the Blood Rage board. This doesn't seem to match any of your builds, was this purely for showcasing high life potential or is it a viable build?
I don’t think any of his planners stay up to date. I am usjng his iron skin paragon board and my health is at 50k. I’d probably be able to boast it past 100k with double potions and some affix changes but still it ain’t no 400k

@@Boost400 yeah you are probably right. He probably has imposing on multiple pieces of gear. He only has it on one piece in his planner.
Il struggling with pit100 at the boss with the Uber boss killer setup. Should I go Iron Skin or Boss killer (I'm a bit confused with all builds) ? I can craft a Uber unique, should I use grandfather, doombringer or none ? Thanks !

Was just curious when do you recommend swapping to crit dmg tempers? i noticed on one stream you were going for crit dmg but the planner still has close dmg. thanks as always for the amazing barb content!
Think it's just because the barb can't temper it so the website doesn't let you select it. You can temper it on a rogue and use it on the barb though.

I mean, op is based on your life and fortify, so yes. But you would need to use bash with hota to maximize it

This is what I want to know, I’m using Tyreal’s because it’s cool. Just want to know how much less optimal it is and the best setup to use it.
Not as tanky to elemental damage but can a more useful aspect and more stats
You can use tyraels but when pushing high you want undying aspect mainly

stay out of mob range and hit n run tech
it depends on quite some stats, armor / res / damage reduction / dodge percentages is tied directly to how much dmg you take and how much life you need, get 9300 armor which is the cap and 70 in all res, when thats done get as much dmg reduction / dodge you can get without sacrificing stats that's important for your character / build
when you are at this point you try a lvl 61 dungeon and if you keep getting 1shot you get some more life / survivability, if you don't get oneshot but die eventually cause you cant kill the mobs fast enough you get more dmg, its impossible to tell you how much life you need without knowing all your stats and how you die, its all about trial and error

Quick follow up question - I made your build from your video yesterday the bleed barb bash build. My gear doesn't have greater affixes, and isn't yet masterworked. I only have like 58k life. Will this just raise naturally as I masterwork and get greater affixes? Or is the paragon board and perks on the d4builds website not accurate to allow for 100k+ life? Please let me know. I just wanna be a big stronk barb.

I am just wondering if my life will increase to this degree when I get greater affixes and masterworked gear, or if this is a new update to the paragon board he shared yesterday. My only confusion is only your Hota Mat farm build you only have Imposing Presence on chest, how do we get to 300-400k with Imposing only on 1 piece?

Attack power means nothing. Im at pit 103 with like 30k attack power
No Ubers and not great gear I’ve got nearly 80k hp and over 100k ap, easily pushing pit 80 with the iron skin starter build. Thanks Rob!

So I have +2 stat imposing on 2 bits of gear i masterwork both an get the 25% on both but it doesn’t increase from +2 it’s coloured blue to show it should have an increase but stuck at base value is this a bug or have I done something wrong this was done before the newest update but as of my understanding their hasn’t been a bug with that specific temper
25% of 2 is 0.5, the game rounds down so you should get another 25% on top of that
Must be my issue I didn’t no that I had seen robs gear with the blue an thought I’d only need the 1 25% roll would the 5% increase in between when fully 12/12 master stack with the big 25 bump ? I gusse yes but not sure
I got a grandfather last night and when I masterworked it, it went up each rank, but at 4 and 8 I didn't get any blue stats at all... pretty lame.
@@thecooltable9481 You rolled the blue stat on the "doesn't lose durability" stat. It is hidden from the item but it is still there and you can crit roll it while masterworking.

What kind of life can Necro get? I started with minions just because they were finally good but I’ve settled in with Blight and it’s a lot of fun! Just not anywhere near the stats that some people have.

I am currently at 48k without any elixirs on my minion necro, just went down to 5 glyphs from 6 for 12% extra life from paragon nodes + some extra attackspeed on golem :), got 3 greater affixes with health and 1 masterwork hit on life, dont even got health tempered as i went for dodge with the 2 dodge aspects, 45% dodge atm , think over 60k should be doable , more with doombringer , thats without elixirs, think i might consider using a doombringer if it stops me from being 1 shot from pit 100 bosses :p ....
I currently have all gear from bash barb (uber boss killer variant) and I dropped a doombringer , should I use it for that build ?

I do the Hota bleed barb, but i only have 35000 attack power, what am i doing wrong? (have 4000 crit dmg)
how u have 4000 crit damage? i have full lv12 gears with 2 stars grandfather and all my gears are either 1 or mostly two stars, i only have 2000 crit damage

yes use them if you are same setup as him. He rolled/tempered crit dmg and bash cleave on all his weps. Grandfather wont be good unless you have the same.

I went the same route but died at 84 on HC. Was a lot of fun. One thing I paired it with was the 2 season 2 curse aspects, so nados plus big ghost explosions after the charge explosions. Very satisfying. Basically doing the same with bash charge and chains with stun tempers now.
Hello mate, I used to play my own build very similar to yours. If i was you I would try to get Tibults Will then drop Bash and pick up WoTB. Bash is only good if you are really playing around that ability and you won't need a basic skill because Double Swing is really fury efficient, especially with charge stunning stuff and Tib's will make your charge be your fury generator (along with your Shouts from you Vocalized).

Rob I’m at 200k life and pretty much invincible at my pit level, 117, can’t kill the boss in time but he can’t kill me lol.

You have to make a side quest on Gea Kull to unlock a Basic Elixir called Anti-Venin Elixir. The quest it s: "Venom of the Nangari".
Quest is actually called "Pinch of Poison" but same spot in Gea Kul inside a house.

It is rng, but the lvl 200 bosses seem to have a higher drop rate for the better gear in general.

It is so hard to temper imposing presence, I never got it once,lost so much gear from it, my gear is immune to it, I want a doombringer, my friend got it on a duriel kill that we did, and DE it to make a shako
Does having all that health help against Uber Lilith ? Like not get one shotted ?
I have 100k buffed, armor and res cap with full fortify and it oneshots me at 50% of phase 1 every time, I don’t even see any effect outside of my gravestone popping up.

damage don't matter if you can't live to do so

you get a stacking debuff when you get hit by Lilith stuff now. Eventually that debuff will make anything one shot.
just put something on like an amulet with GA movement speed for her 2nd faze and you'll do it
I know my gear isn’t the best but I followed your iron skin starter build badically perfectly and have 39k health lol
Having greater affixes and good IP ranks will make a huge difference. Once you start getting those all the small % bonuses in the paragon board and potions etc add up quickly.
Use elixir of fortitute II, elixir of antivenin and a incense that gives life. Get all upgraded rubies, get greater affix life gear, masterwork it til it hits life, temper emposing presence if you can. You'll get there

I thought the maximum life cap you can hit is 23,325?? Is that not true? I was told that even with armor anything past 9,250 was just a waste?
There's no life cap
A little bit of life per second seemed ok to me until i saw the math just now... i gotta get rid of that stat, lol.
If we had % life per sec, shit would be absolutely broken
The health nodes on the paragon don’t multiply with each other. Thats incorrect clickbait. All the max life nodes are added together and THEN multiplied against your overall base life.
You guys will probably want to hang me for this but I just want to say that's a little bit too much life and it needs to be toned down significantly, For other players I will say this having such a massive health pool might be meta if you want to run a 150+ for flex but keep in mind that only 101 is necessary for the best rewards for the pit.
My pulverize wearbear tops out at 80k and has no issues soloing that. Rob may have great gear and Uber's etc but at least he's taken the time to help the rest of us unlike the vast amount of sweaters that would keep information like that to themselves.
I took this advice for my own barb and it's fixed by survivability issue and I'm now also doing 101 on him too with my own flay build where I was struggling at 90, cheers brother.

I did everything you mentioned here 2 weeks ago and i still cant have more than 50k hp on druid
It may be possible, but it will affect your build negatively. The earthquake thorn Barb, needs vulnerable damage, damage to close enemies, cooldown, and 70% resistance. I have over 14,000 life on my equipment, followed Rob's build guide, full life gems, and masterwork to 4/5 equipment and I now have 73,000 life. With better luck tempering and getting a masterwork life bonus, I could hit 110,000 life.
What changes need to be made to the thorns barb for HC players?
none, it is probably the best HC build as is. High life with armor/res cap is already built into the build. And since your life is so high, you regen 3% per sec while affected by a shout. 3% of 500k is 15k regen per sec. Plus you still have your potion.
but doombring %DR is probably desired heavily in HC so if you dont got one you gonna have some trouble

If somehow you die on this barb it's pretty clear that it was a one shot mechanic.
You should definitely test your barb against boss mechanics to see what is cheap one shots and what's not
so the main question is, with all this life, what lvl can you clear?

Don’t the enemies do a percentage of your life as damage ? What’s the point of 400k life.
The chance of getting those perfect affixes to be able to move into max masterwork + a doombringer with perfect masterwork to drop on the life stat is astronomically low. Not to mention the chance of getting a doombringer in the 1st place.

Play the season, the iron wolf final reward is a spark, 4 sparks is an uber unique
I’m still at a loss on where to get food gear. I dropped 130 hrs in season 4 and my Barb still has sub par gear 😂
400K Life on a Barb? A corpse crossbow will still one shot you. Who needs Lilith in Sanctuary when a walking crossbow can one shot us. 😅

Crossbows do no dmg when armor capped.
That x bow misfires when it sees the BARB 💪
If you get one shot by corpse crossbow, stop talking and start listening. Robs builds can tank it all
how can u run two elixirs at the same time?? whenever i use two the first one just deactivates
One has to be the antivenon elixir.
Barb has a multiplying glyph for rare nodes. It's revenge
Its easy to swap for life in your case when you have that amount of dmg on your gear..
