Hi y'all just wanted to say I appreciate all the videos you make. I just started watching you a month ago, and have already learned so much. I like that you actually put the recipes down below. You remind me a lot of me, your personality I mean. I like that you try to be different than these other homestead channels, and work hard at your craft. My favorite was the polymer clay jewelry. I made my own with beads, but this was new. I went and bought some clay and gonna try it, thanks for another hobby.
Make these every year. So good and usually first to disappear! Asbestos hands are good when rolling in sugar first go round! lol. Thanks for this! 💕 We call them Russian tea cookies! ☺️
This recipe is a family tradition in our family. (BTW- we in Texas say Puh-Kahn). My mom always made them in crescent shaped and she left them In the powdered sugar. She got tired of coating them. My dad nicknamed them “kitty litter” cookies because we had a slotted spoon to dig them out of the powdered sugar! 😂 Y’all are too cute in your footy pajamas! ❤
My grandma made these for Christmas every year that I can remember. The thing that I found amazing is that she didn't have a food processor, I can't imagine having to grind the pecans by hand. Thanks for the precious memory and inspiration.
They look so delicious. You both are awesome. Can’t wait until you get to One hundred thousand followers. Well deserved 🥰 Merry Christmas from California 🎄
This looks like my mom's receipe but we would roll them out in Cresent shape and powder them..they taste so so good.i lost me moms receipe so thanku for this and u guys enjoy and have a wonderful night❤❤..u look so cute in ur onesie. Merry Christmas ❤❤
These cookies look wonderful!! Thank you for sharing! Since your recipes are always a hit in our house, do you happen to have a good brocolli cheese rice casserole? My Mother in law used to make it every holiday and she passed away Jan 2021. Noone got her recipe. Your chicken flautas recipe is now on our weekly rotation. My husband loves them! We also have made Shawn's decadent scalloped potatoes twice since Thanksgiving and his deviled eggs we've made 5 times already! Love your channel! Thank you! Happy 🎄 Holidays!! By the way...your flannel pjs are sooo cuteee!!
Technically, confectioner’s sugar contains cornstarch, while powdered sugar does not. However, these terms are commonly used interchangeably in the U.S. so you may find confectioner’s sugar sold as powdered sugar, and vice versa. To complicate things, the term “icing sugar” is used outside of the U.S, so call it whatever you prefer!
Excuse me ma'am. I do believe you and Shawn both admitted to peeing in a can last weekend while camping in the beautiful Vanna White, so leave us poor native southerners alone about our Pee-Cans. Also, nobody said anything about you turning a southern staple into "Sandy Balls" like they were straight out of the desert. LOL. Just kidding. I'm loving the channel and have been watching everyday since I found it. I'm learning so much from you Ali! Keep it coming! 🤣🤣❤❤💯
Okay I gotta ask, where did you get your jammies?!! So cute!! Also I love these and I’m planning on making them this week! I was going to search for a recipe. But why?? Ali’s got one, of course! You must have read my mind! 🤭 Thank you!!
Yummo! These look so delicious guys. I’m going to make these. I call Pecans (pee can). Don’t know how else to put it so you can see how we Aussies say it lol. TFS"
My husband always call them "peckins* he's always changing pronunciation of words. Usually just to see the stupid look on my face, trying to figure out what he's talking about. Fifty years with a practical joker😅. What a ride.
Hey Sister👋🏻 We call them Mexican Wedding Cookies. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day ❤🙏🏻❤️
These and chocolate peanut butter balls are my childhood memories at Christmas!
I make these every year for my family. They’re the best.. I had a dog similar to yours, when I was young. He was a Toy Fox Terrier.
This cookie is such a nostalgic cookie…. I love this cookie, I don’t know why I only think to make at Christmas 😂
Us too! Only at Christmas.
We call these “Snowballs”
Love you guys… thanks for sharing!♥️

We always call those russian tea cakes, which is a light crumbly cookie made with chopped nuts, preferably pecans and rolled in powdered sugar.

My favorite!!
Pacon is I believe a northern pronunciation!
I love your little 1/4 cup measuring cup. Where did you get it?
Walmart! I love them. www.walmart.com/ip/5240071437

Are pecan sandy snowballs the same as Mexican/Russian wedding tea cakes?
They are all the same!
Yes
In AZ those are called wedding cake cookies

Busted!!!😂😅😂
You haven't lived until you nearly kill yourself inhaling powder sugar when eating these! My mom made them...love them.
That is the best way to eat them! 😂
Okay I gotta ask, where did you get your jammies?!! So cute!!

Aldi actually but last year. They had similar ones at JC Penney.
That would be 10x sugar you are rolling the pe can sandies in 😅 Daddy's favorite cookie ❤
Where did you get the jar holder behind you? I call 'em melt aways. They melt in your mouth.
Puhkahn
We actually made it. We’re going to do a tour very soon!
Love these. Pecans are toxic to dogs.
I thought "pulsing" was when the machine is turned on and off in 5-10 second bursts?? Or am I mistaken?
It is. My machine stinks!

Ok, I say peecans and don't care if its said wrong. 😂
😂
15 seconds in the micro wave will soften your butter not melt it.
Pah can. Not pee can. Lol
