Here I thought picking the jacket and backpack was a wrong choice because of what other streamers were saying. It sure helps not having to worry about the sun at the beginning. Thanks for the tips.
My simple tip is to take the cart almost everywhere you go. Whether it's a hunt or collecting other resources. Collect as much as you can and fill it all up. In this game it's easy to run out of resources. (I would also advise ppl to make carts on all the islands as well, especially copper island.
I agree completely with the cart usage. Just don't make your first trip on copper island with a cart. Being attacked by Tegu while pulling a cart is no fun. Decimate the species then pull your cart.
After 8 tips I thought I was going to watch the video and have done nothing right during the 30+ days I have survived so far. (Still not fainted) But the two last tips I actually managed to meet.😆

wow so nice, thanks. I already know most of them, but i missed the caviar recipe o.O And just one question, please. The trees do not regrow after you get the logs. And I saw too many videos, the people are getting 2 logs for each tree but i am getting only one. What i am missing, please? And do you have any tip wich trees we can cut off? After I cut a tree, I lost the source of folliages that are very important too. Thanks!!!!
The amount of resources you get is also dependent on your difficulty level. I usually cut down trees that just contain sticks and bark. There are plenty of those in the jungles and around the open grassy areas like Pterodon and Mahogany. If I am in a tough spot I will also cut down leaf only palm trees like Small, Chinese, or Licuri Palms. Also did you know if you have a shovel you can dig up the trunk and get 1 more log out of a tree?
Can you please explain the requirements for sailing to other islands & returning, I am using improved raft & get stuck & not able to return to hope island. Best build location & what islands

Many of the big streamers playing right now are just seeing the game for the first time. First time around the iron axe and gun look really cool.
The portable leaf bed is very good, particularly when out exploring for longer periods
Yeah having 5 narrow leaves with you at all times is a good idea.
My tip: Explore Copper Island at night (using an improved torch if you need to craft). The new Sunstroke mechanic is no joke.
