The shenanigan they pulled on stage are legendary. One show had Clown setting Corey on fire and he didn’t realize it until he was burning. They used to fight each other on stage.
I'll never forget the one where clown knelt down behind mick and he fell over him backwards and proceeded to boot him when he got up 😅
Sid jumping off the lights, breaking both ankles early in the set and having to continue the set with knackered feet.
Not one of my favorite bands but their drummer was constantly regarded as one of the top 3 at the time. Joey Jordison was a tiny little fella he but put out a monstrously loud and fast drum ... RIP little brother..
When they first popped on the scene they were outshining bands they opened for, months later back headlining, months after that they were one of the giants of metal 🤘

Been to many of their shows and I have to say, Slipknot has been the SICKEST shows I’ve ever been to. They’re on a whole different level. And Joey was the sickest drummer! R.I.P.

Download is at Donington Park in England. It’s one of the big festivals that rock/metal bands love to perform at
best uk performance and i was there in the pits! awesome!
It's a great way to get aggression out in a healthy way. I'm a musician, that's one of the main pluses of the job.
R.I.P Joey Jordinson and Paul Grey. All hope is gone is my favorite album so for the simple fact it was their last album before paul died and joey departed shortly after. New drummer and bass player came with .5 the grey chapter.

They did 17 songs that night check out vermillion. i personally seen them live and they kicked so much ass me and some friends traveled in one car from NC to VA Beach to catch them in concert... Those two drummers in the front are percussionist's..
I you ever get a chance, go to a metal concert, get on the floor, or seats close to the pit. The energy of the crowd, of that base pumping through your body like a second heart beat, it just feels good. I've been to live blues, country, metal, rock, I want to see a rap concert but haven't been to one yet, but so far, every concert I've been to has been so much fun, but metal has by far had the most energy.
The London 2002 live version is the only way this song should be reacted too.

Fun fact: at the 2004 Download Lars Ulrich from Metallica was sick. Joey Jordison from Slipknot played the drums for some of set. With about an hour to rehearse. He had crazy mad skills.

I’ve seen them and they’re great live. You could even get in the mosh pit and I promise you would be fine. Anything happens, everybody stops and picks you up immediately. It’s really all positive vibes… saturated in aggression. High recommend. You’d be fine for sure 🤘🏻
