Thank you for showing the beauty of our county to the world.We are really doing fine in Eswatini,really fine.All the bad publicity is uncalled for.We don't experience any terrorist attacks,we are a God fearing community,The level of crime is quite low compared to other countries.As for suffering citizens, all countries do have less privileged citizens. Gradually our government will be able to help them financially. We love our beautiful county & will continue praying for its development.

Me and my family are going back in December and I can't wait. My wife's chief bridesmaid has lived there since a child and when we go back we are re-newing our vows. Swaziland definitely holds a special place in our hearts. Love from the u.k.
I'm a Swazi citizen ( currently in India). The video is ok but not totally informative, just a highlight of random things there and there. I must confess that food is expensive in our tiny Kingdom even more for a visitor who doesn't compare amongst shops... And buying mid month isn't ideal. I suppose your grocery was done at Shoprite Ezulwini where its obviously costly. Spar, and PickPay offer much better. A person who has never been in the Kingdom might be tempted to think that Swaziland is all rural and farms and game reserves and that's it.... You could have highlighted Mbabane, Manzini and Ezulwini briefly... I was so shy when the guide talked about women being submissive to men and the story just freaked me... Pls understand that its not what's happening nowadays.... Men & women within eSwatini are equal before the constitution. . Otherwise thanks for your video..... Seems great!!! After all!!
Thanks for your comment. Yes you're right about women being equal. This was the Mantanga village where they're showing how it used to be. I'm not sure what the difference between mid-month is for buying groceries but yes it was at the Shoprite. I hope you're not missing your home country too much.

Quite good as a tourist's perspective. Your comments about kids on the roadsides and how locals manage with the somewhat high prices in the supermarkets are easily understood by those who have lived there. Eswatini is a developing country with a large portion of the population engaged in subsistence agriculture. Children are expected to do some work, perhaps minding the youngest siblings. Most Swazis buy only some items at the supermarket. Where possible they grow their own vegetables, maize, and raise their own livestock.
Yeah I can see why. It’s actually probably much healthier to eat directly from the garden anyway. It’s always interesting for us to see this. We experienced the same thing in the country of Uruguay and Belize. Their grocery stores were quite expensive and hard for us to imagine how people can afford it.
Yes! We had a fantastic time there. We just came back from being away for 9 months and the girls have packed a whole suitcase of clothes that they've outgrown and want to bring back to Africa. They're excited to go back again!

Our border crossing was supper fast but one thing we didn't know was that you weren't allowed to bring in food. Well you could but you had to declare it. They let us go with no trouble I think because we were obvious tourist but just FYI. We crossed through Pongola game reserve and through the Goela border.
We thank God as Swazis who has kept us from all difficult times where we striken by diseases and poverty, our country has grown in population and health facilities even in this pandemic COVID 19 we thank God who gave our King Mswati 111 and Queen mother who try by all means protect Emaswati, working together with Ministry of Health with also the two houses of parliament. As we speak the COVID vaccination is happening in all the Tinkhundla, so we really appreciate the authorities for working tirelessly for the lives of Emaswati🙏

Western styled buildings are generally bigger compared to rural housing needs for the locals. For locals, generally the herd boy/shepards do the cutting & collection at no fee from their home lands/farms, drags the reeds home by Ox cart and use a village craftsmen to build at a fraction of the cost.

I don’t think everyone can afford those prices. They most likely buy from the little food stands and have a different diet. We saw this in Malawi where their main dish consisted of maize (corn mashed like potatoes). I think Arosa was just happy to have nice company. She was such a sweat dog and had a little limp but managed to come along the whole way with us.

Which is basically the amount of goods/services one could by with a particular currency, normally converted to a dollar equivalent. Compared to other LEDC's with such low GDP per capita, Swaziland is one of the most expensive countries to live in. Simply put, a dollar in your pocket would buy you more goods in another country than Swaziland. That's my two cents

I saw lions and did you ever feel threaten so close to lions and a lot of other animals around so close to each other and lions get hungry and go after small game as lions are meat eaters anyway thanks for these beautiful videos Jerome from Florida that is a great experience your so close to those lions and it has been said when they get old they become man eater if they can't catch small game ?
