I haven't played bns in a long while so I'm outdated to what the current problems are, does someone want to give me a summary? I wanted to get back into the game but the comments here give me a really bad feeling ^^'
yeah same tbh, i havent played this game in ages and i really want to bring myself to come back but i just thought content was slow and felt kinda boring idk x) and the progression with weapons i thought was annoying -- but yeah this video was great ^-^
i would not suggest this game if you have to start from 0, as the progression will feel slow and like a chore, especially if you play solo with minimum time. however, if you join a decent clan (with running minimum VT/Temple of Eluvium) or have plenty of time to farm, i would suggest giving the game a shot again. it's not worth playing if your computer doesnt run well in raids/dungeons, even with characters off, as it can feel frustrating-- same with high ping (i would say anything above 300 is not worth playing this game with on a majority of classes). the patches that get released are not 'big', most of the items released in new patches are either endgame (so if youre not there, youre not able to do it) or consumed in 20 minutes (new weeklies, new item introduced to upgrade, fishing, etc). this game is better if you do not plan to do endgame, but dailies are monotonous to do; however the combat is gorgeous and combos are easy/smooth to execute (depending on class + ping + frames though) the playerbase is still "active", but it's not very supportive for new/lower-geared players. most older content is nerfed to where mechs are removed or can be ignored, so even when the newer player gets the gear for a 'higher-end dungeon', the mechanics are a lot more punishing towards mistakes(especially in solo dungeons) which can be demoralising.
Be sure if you are running an Intel MB - Turn off Hyperthreading. I tried all the youtube/reddit/forum comments and the only thing that increased my FPS from 20-40 to 100+ fps and I have the graphics turned way up, leave names on, minimap and such and never drop below 100fps. If you have an AMD - I know it's called SMT (like hyperthreading) not sure how to turn that off. But try that and see if it helps.

I haven’t really been playing Blade and Soul that much since school started. This video was amazing and inspired me to start playing again keep up the good work. Pls don’t rush anything (go at your own pace), and make the plot the best you can. ❤️
Wish people would stop from complaining about the game for a second and actually enjoy this beautiful cutscenes. Even with the current issues, bns still has one of the best storylines I ever saw. It's like you watch an anime you play in.
literally the first quest in the game that I actually stop to read what people say the only quest I didn't even dare running as it will ruin atmosphere the only quests I felt like the true hero of the game, why is it only one quest, it think this quest is the peak of the game, I beg you with all my heart to make more of these please, it was the first time since I started to play that I felt empathy for the game

Good work on visuals, but give NCWest a dev team to address the issues we are having in the western server, because if you don't have good performance when UE4 comes out. You going to have a lot of people quitting your game in the West. Its best you listen to your player base, not doing that, you are shooting yourself in the foot NC Soft.

@@herrscherofflamescion4167 Nah I'm pretty sure they in earlier acts. Namsoyoo is a dauther of Namsolyn and Emperor Wan. Yunma Fei is a daughter of Yunma Kahn. With little googling I found out that this shit is literally explained through acts 2-3-4.

Would really love to see a return to the relevant story line that this beautiful game started with before it turned into money-grabbing fight to improve gear rather than earn it. I have hopes for UE4.
