I had the great fortune to meet Bobby Hicks at the Montana Old Time Fiddler's camp, and while he was teaching the advanced class--which I was not up to!--I did take two workshops with him that week, and what a treat! I've wanted a 5-string fiddle ever since.
Man, Bobby Hicks is one of my favorite fiddle players. I'm definitely going to be teaching lots of his licks and tunes on my channel. Bobby is one of the quintessential bluegrass fiddle players, and his double stops are awesome
That’s my boss Nick Chandler. He has his own band that I play guitar with, Nick Chandler & Delivered! It’s a hand built mandolin from a small builder named Carl Spann

Very clear notes and excellent intonation by Hicks.
