- The newest and current Disney Cars Expanded Universe line is the Glow Racers, debuting with the Launch & Criss-Cross Glow Racer track/playset. This set includes plastic Glow Racers Lightning McQueen and Jackson Storm along with dueling launchers to race characters on. It is so far only available at Walmart stores in the USA. The die-cast Glow Racers singles, including McQueen, Dinoco Cruz Ramirez and Mater, are set to release soon.

I really like that playset as it brings up some awesome vibes. The track is partly based on the Tokyo Spinout Playset from Cars 2 btw and the cars glow indeed, I've seen it elsewhere. The line is a great update on the Neon Racers and I appreciate the fact of Race Team Mater, Fillmore and Ramone (he's got a 95 decal) being included as well as the variety of playsets with Mack, the track and the garage!

I didn’t have an issue with the red track being slower - my cars were tying a lot. Also I found when taking videos of my set that if they cross close together sometimes the flag will fall to the wrong side. Also you can connect this to the Cars on the Road playsets too - they use the same connector.

Not as of yet.
They'd make great additions to the line, that's for sure

I always had glow in the dark toys that you had to put under the sun or a bright litght first before they actually glow i think thats gling on with these plastic cars and mator and that mater too

honestly, i love this one more than the Tokyo spinout set due to it having 2 cars instead of just one and the clear sticks where they spin are not in. I'm not hating on the set, but that stick that spins like 4 times was quite weak.

Make sure all the lights are turned off and that the track has been exposed to a source of light for a period of time.
Thanks. Do you need to expose the cats to light aswell? There’s a slight glow on the wheels but it’s not really noticeable either
