From Discraft I agree with the Roach is a great putter. As for the main bag recommendation, you HAVE to try the Crave (axiom) and Wave (MVP) and every bag should have a Glitch in it... or maybe Pitch. I haven't tried the Pitch yet. Infinite Discs = Emperor and Dynasty (sure you will hear Centurion and it is good), TSA I'd say Pathfinder (some will say Mana or possibly a Construct), and if you try Clash probably a Peach, Spice, or Cookie.
You need to bag some TSA molds! I absolutely love their mana for a flippy mid and the James Proctor run of Votum is straight fire!

My top molds to consider for you would be:
Discraft - ESP FLX Zone (best plastic they have), ESP Stalker (controllable FD, slightly flippy) ESP Anax (Overstable 10 speed, fills the weird gap between FD and DD) ESP Hades (flippy, since you like hyzer flips/turnovers)
MVP - Proxy (Straight throwing putter, holds any line) Hex (Stable Buzz SS)
Infinite - Emperor (since you love the Grace)
Innova - Firebird (hard to beat this in the OS FD slot)
I was in North Carolina last week and made a stop by the store. Awesome selection and great staff. Grab a Hades, you won’t be disappointed. Eastway aka Beastway is an incredible course.

Buzz ss is phenomenal. It doesn't not turn much if new at all. I've had 6 in different plastics (granted I throw 340ft or so) and I've never had one flip. Hell, for me they don't even hyzer flip. They just hold whatever line you put them on.

Eclipse resistor (6.5 speed raptor flight)
C line MD3 (avoid super domes as it will be more stable)
Nate sexton firebird (2022 run is cheap and is a money run)

Champion Tern (I think you will love it as a driver)
Roach (I use it as a dead straight/turn over throwing putter, I personally love the ledgestone color glow roach)
Crave ( fantastic for flip up and some turn fairway shots)

Thrasher is nice. Can get turn and still come back out. Very good distance. Athena is money disc. Some people hate on them, but a Zone OS can be a scramble monster and hyzer machine. Captain Raptor a must for tight flex lines, especially in the woods. The new Z FLX jawbreaker combo feel amazing on all the runs. Discraft just ran a bunch of Z lite in popular molds around 150-167 grams. Fun alternatives. You should also feel out some of the groove top discs like Banger and Ringer. Meteor is a great turnover mid. Buzzz OS/Malta for stable mid. Hades will beat into a turnover distance driver quickly, but will come back to straight finish. Everyone should try a Passion. Vulture is a nice stable mold also. Challenger OS is a nice stable throwing putter

The hades for me is my fav. I carry a passion, Zeus, hades; and buzz. I carry a lot of trilogy too. Bounty, fuse, EmcTruth x2, judge x2, 10th anny. judge, and a pure. An envy is fantastic as well. Holds turnover like crazy

Definitely Clash Discs will need to be reviewed!
Mantis and Vulture are two worth checking out. Mantis is like a more stable Cicada, especially in Z. Probably between that and the Raptors you were throwing. Vulture is like a longer version of it with less inclination to turn, but still push.

You are already throwing my current favorite disc, the cicada. I also have been throwing the Athena a ton but I am sure some one else will recommend that. So I'll name the odd ball molds that I used to throw from Discraft that don't get much love nowadays. Flash, under stable bomber little odd hand feel but on a calm day in the open its going far. SurgeSS, not as understable as the numbers suggest, will likely be OOP after the drive release. Prodigy I have been throwing the A5 in 300 plastic a ton. Its less stable than a zone imo. Kastaplast Berg, not for everyone but under 250Ft straight shot, just grip it and rip it and you are parked.

Absolutely love MVP/axiom for throwing putters and mids. The Hex, proxy/envy, and pyro are incredible discs.
The buzz os is amazing too I use it for longer forehand upshot’s that the zone just won’t quite get there and into a strong headwind it hold it’s flight and fly like a normal buzz

I like the avenger ss & the thrasher
My most consistent/reliable Discraft discs: Metal Flake Z Wasp for straight glide forever forehand mid, Z Swirl passion for ignore wind go straight and far and always fade gently, ESP Passion for flip up to straight or soft turnover reliably, ESP Malta midrange for a repeatable nice solid overstability you'd want out of a good zone but farther, Venom for far and overstable or Nukes which can beat in to flip up and hold integrity, Scorch for tailwind or turn over/easy distance flex in Z Glo, I trust the Kratos rubber blend more than any zone and its so freakin glidey with stability, My favorite zone is Glo Jawbreaker just always releases nice because the plastic feels so good.
Discraft has so many good molds you can't go wrong!

For Discraft, my favorite is the Big Z Mantis. It's hard to find in that plastic but brand new it pushes dead straight with a slight finish. Beat in, it's the perfect hizer flip to turnover without just burning over. Congrats on the open bag!

I bag a Buzzz and a Buzzz SS, i definitely throw the Buzzz SS more. It shreds wooded courses like you have in NC.
So excited to see you throwing some discraft plastic! I got into the sport because of you when you first started posting disc golf and have thrown discraft ever since! And Buzzz all the way 😂. Favorite discraft mold I throw is the nebula. It’s a touch more stable than the buzzz but is super versatile in my bag. I reach for that disc a lot.
Passion! Although I haven't thrown a Cicada and they look pretty similar. I really like Athena as well for a 7/5/0/2. Need to get my hands on a Drive!

First ever ace for me was a Barham BuzzzSS but I prefer the Buzzz....

My favourite and only discraft I bag is the Nuke! Goes far!
Not only do I find out that one of my favorite clash Royale RUclipsrs plays disc golf I also find out he plays like 25 minutes away 🤯
Discraft I really like the heat if you want something a tad understable. If you get it in the Z plastic it would be more stable until you beat it in.
Try out the Paradox, or the Pyro for Axiom. Super understable, and super overstable. They make some great mids, and slower discs.
Best of luck on your new journey into the vastness of an open bag. Down the road you should try out Thought Space Athletic Discs. Especially the Pathfinder and Votum.

Super excited for this. I started off pretty heavily in Innova and Discraft but have started to see more Axiom and MVP taking over various slots.
Innova Toro is my favourite, or the Halo Star Leopard3 for straight shots. Good luck with this new adventure!

I don't currently throw Discraft. But two molds that would always be welcome back to my bag would be either the comet or meteor. Take your pick. Lol. Altho buzzz SS probably does similar things.
My favorite zone has been the Brody smith dark horse crystal flx plastic second would be the glow plastic zones

I swear by the Buzz SS and the Zone. The Discmania MD3 or MD5, depending on which run, is gonna be like the EMac Truth.

best discs from discraft that i suggest would be the athena, less stable slower raptor. the ringer, less stable zone. the hades, best max distance driver, get the z plastic for a money distance driver out of the gate or esp for a flippy distance driver. the mantis, less stable slightly longer athena. if you dont mind oop you should check out the XL. imo discrafts best fairway driver, the TI plastic version beats into a dead straight hyzer flip fairway that can get distance driver distance. another oop driver that would be the most like your rive is the punisher. also the heat is great for easy rollers and the avenger ss is great for distance rollers.
This is so fun! Try out an Athena by discraft. It’s become my absolute go to fairway for straight/woods power shots. Crave I have for the straight but less power or more hyzer flip shots, for comparison.
My favorite disc ever is the Electron Firm Envy. It’s so straight and torque resistant. Controllable like a putter but flies as far as a midrange. Other MVP discs you should try are the Pyro, Resistor, Crave (like Joseph said), and Fission Photon (I bag a 154g one and it’s actually so money). Bonus points if you try an Uplink because it’s just so fun. I used to throw exclusively MVP but these are all the ones that stuck for me.

Stalker is underrated for discraft; Axiom envy, hex, pyro, rhythm, and insanity are all great; and everyone has to try a kastaplast berg

Love to see you try out some Infinite Discs. Particularly love the Tomb for putting with & for throwing. Also Alfa Discs from Norway. I know Infinite stocks them but maybe the Another Round guys could stock them too

Oh I'm not! The justice is definitely staying in my bag, as will a few of the discs I've beat in like one of my felons and some other stuff. But I am going to try a lot of new stuff because it'll be fun!
@@DiscGolfwithMolt awesome, I used to throw all trilogy just because.and then decided to switch to all gyro just for fun. I've since gone back to throwing the pure, fuse, stag, a beat in felon, and grace. Also a Get Freaky Zone...try one in that plastic. I think you will really like the crave as many have said and try the Tesla as well!
Throw the new md5 from discmania. That disc is a money overstable mid. Then the Feedback and the A2 from prodigy are also great discs.
Can you do a tutorial video about the terminology and how to execute as I have no idea what some of the terms mean.
