i swear dano doesnt watch games. the texans were not flawless at the end of the game. cj took an intentional grounding penalty and pushed them out of fg range right before buffalo blew the game.
The Jets' first drive they ran once on 1st down for 1 yard. Second drive, they ran once on 2nd down for no gain. Third drive was the three passes that ended with the pick 6 that they showed. Fourth drive they ran on 1st down for two yards, then two more passes and another interception. First drive of the second quarter, they ran on 1st down for 1 yard, then picked up nearly 40 yards on four passes before running on 3rd and 3 for 1 yard and 4th and 2 for no gain and another turnover. The next time they had the ball, they were down 17-0. They ran one more time in the first half, the first play of their only first half scoring drive for 7 yards. So, at half, they had run the ball eight times, four times on 1st down, for a total of 12 yards and they were down 10. Their first possession of the second half, they ran on 1st down for 3 yards and again on 2nd down for a 5 yard loss. At that point, it was 10 runs (for 14 yards) against 20 passes (and 1 sack). That's not bad balance in today's NFL. The problem wasn't that they weren't trying to run. It was that they couldn't run. Still down by 10, they leaned pass heavy at that point, which actually led to two of their better gains on the ground on their next scoring drive. Minnesota would not let them run. They asked Aaron to beat them, and he couldn't.

"an average play in the NFL takes about 5 seconds to run" followed by "you're going to take off a MINIMUM of 5 seconds per play" is an egregious misuse of statistics to prove your point, Dan

That hit Allen took was yesterday was awful, the fact that he was allowed back in the game is criminal. Why isn’t that being talked about enough? If Tua got laid out like that espn would go all week talking about Dolphins malpractice and advocating for Tua to retire.
Concussions like that will threw off your motor coordination compromised for a day or more. Didn’t expect anything to connect after Allen went back in. Backups would have do e better than Allen at that point.
Can't believe McDermott hasn't been fired. Last year hanging on to a bad offensive coordinator, then changing on to a hurt defensive back they paid $160 million dollars to Ride the bench..
The clock-management in the NFL is horrible. My RAVENS always have bad clock-management. I watched the end of the PACKERS-RAMS game, what was Sean Mcvay doing, why snap the ball before the 2 minute warning ⚠️, you gotta run the clock down and score the winning touchdown with like 10 seconds left. Clock-management is horrible across the NFL, not just BUFFALO, it's the RAVENS, the RAMS, and others.
I am disgusted that concussion protocol and player safety does not exist. Allen was clearly concussed and was put back in the game anyway and no media is even really talking about it.
0:58 oh you mean the part of the game where Josh Allen was clearly full on unconscious (which is, by the rules, an immediate concussion protocol) and the Bills said it was an ankle injury?
Dan said 2nd straight week Josh played poorly and yet game could have went to OT. That’s what they’re talking about. Had they lost by 20 then they would be talking about how bad he played.
Nobody is talking about the Texans even worse clock management because they won. The Texans had the ball in FG range and the Bill had no timeouts. But instead of running the ball and kicking the FG. They threw 2 passes and stop the clock for the Bills. The Bills should have never touched the ball.
There is no coach in the NFL who would not have deferred to Josh Allen to win that game at the end. No doubt Josh’s voice was looming big in that decision to avoid an overtime game. People haven’t acknowledge that Josh has had an injured left hand since game 1.

That hit Allen took was yesterday was awful, the fact that he was allowed back in the game is criminal. Why isn’t that being talked about enough? If Tua got laid out like that espn would go all week talking about Dolphins malpractice and advocating for Tua to retire.
Could imagine any other qb goin 9-30 and no one in the media seemingly cares
Rex is 💯🎯 The Jets gotta run the ball to take pressure off of Rodgers. But Aaron does have to play much better!
Let's consider Dan’s point for a minute: Are you confident that CJ wouldn't make a drive in the remaining 7 seconds to set up a field goal?
3 runs, Texans take all 3 time outs and still get the same time to win game. IDK why people acting like him passing changed the game
go Texans
Thats right Rex! Ground and Pound💪🏿
I agree. I was screaming at the TV for them to run at the end and see if texans use their timeouts.
No excuses!!!!!!!!
Oh I missed the concussion on Josh. Yeesh. God bless man. Retire young and rich.
I am disgusted that concussion protocol and player safety does not exist. Allen was clearly concussed and was put back in the game anyway and no media is even really talking about it.
So yall don’t talk about Allen going 9/30. If it was any other qb yall would ripped him off but because it Allen. Say the league isn’t racist
Of course they are
Lmfaoo
Racist? Lmaooo
How can they be racist the way they talk about Lamar and Mahomes.
McDermott should have been fired two years ago, he’s just awful
4:45 no Dan. You have to count the time he used on the pass plays. You don’t just add 5 seconds per play
The fact that ESPN has shilled so hard for Rodgers is shameful.
0:58 oh you mean the part of the game where Josh Allen was clearly full on unconscious (which is, by the rules, an immediate concussion protocol) and the Bills said it was an ankle injury?
"Run the football". That happened to be the conversation during Aaron's last year with the Packers. What's the common denominator?
McDermott is a good coach, but he sure has cost the Bills a lot of games.
Allen or McDermott?
Dan said 2nd straight week Josh played poorly and yet game could have went to OT. That’s what they’re talking about. Had they lost by 20 then they would be talking about how bad he played.
It's a fireable offense, especially while the run game was working
He thought he had Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce in a playoff game lmaoooooo
McDermott is just saying that because he knew they weren’t going to make it in OT with Josh being hurt. He didn’t seem right after the concussion.
Josh Allen went 9/30 for 131 yards, but not having better weapons like Diggs had nothing to do with the game?
Nobody is talking about the Texans even worse clock management because they won. The Texans had the ball in FG range and the Bill had no timeouts. But instead of running the ball and kicking the FG. They threw 2 passes and stop the clock for the Bills. The Bills should have never touched the ball.
There is no coach in the NFL who would not have deferred to Josh Allen to win that game at the end. No doubt Josh’s voice was looming big in that decision to avoid an overtime game. People haven’t acknowledge that Josh has had an injured left hand since game 1.
I don’t know much about Rexx Ryan’s time with Buffalo Bills, but I can tell you his record was nothing like Sean McDermott. It was in the toilet! It makes me laugh to hear him be critical of Sean McDermott for that reason.
So he knew Robert was gonna be fire!!
Hope you all have a great Monday ❤💪🏼
And they were running pretty well. They may have gotten a first down when running it.
I don’t understand why there aren’t soft cushions on the outside of the helmet
