Honestly, I think it's a hidden compromise with artists these days to produce content at a steady pace, but at the expense of creativity or effort. It kind of reminds me of "shadow inflation" meaning you could buy a 32 fluid ounce bottle of shampoo at Walmart for $8.99 ten years ago, and that same bottle in 2022 still costs $8.99 to make you think that it doesn't cost more when it really does because it's the same sized bottle with LESS shampoo of 28 fluid ounce!
