I don’t know what got over me, I kept this song on repeat and kept crying over and over. “Save me from me” is where I always start crying. It just resonates with me so well because of circumstances. God only helps those who CANT help themselves. if we could help ourselves and save ourselves then Jesus never would have had to come and die for the sins of the world, if we could have crossed the bridge to reconcile are sin with God then Jesus would not have ever had to die,if we could have done it on our own then we wouldn't need God's help, the world teaches God only helps those who help themselves that is false,god only helps those who cannot help themselves that are completely destitute and slave to unrighteousness. so you must turn to Jesus and get that living water. For me, this artist was buried under two or three dimensions of youtube searches. I had to search trap, christian, and then pull 'KB' from a mix. I don't even think that the majority of his target audience knows about him yet. He needs more exposure. That's why you don't see the hate.

We have been listening to the message of hope and forgiveness proclaimed by Jesus for weeks and we've watched him heal the sick and raise the dead and yet we're still not satisfied. We're not quite ready to "be joyful" and "break forth into singing." But the Lord gives us an example of love that he says doesn't compare to the great amount of love he has for us. He compares his love to that of a mother's love for her young child - and his love is greater. God's love is unconditional and undying.
There are days where I used to and still do be drowning, but because of Jesus, I don't have to be drowning for long and reaches his hand to pull me out of the water. Songs like this do remind us of how much we can trust in him. No more excuses to why we should drown ourselves!!

God isn't a pick and choose. whether you are saved or a child of God doesn't eliminate you from being helped by God. if you are saved and a child of God then he speaks through to you in prayer and everyday life experiences. if your not, then I don't think one person who doesn't believe or doesn't know God hasn't had at least one person try and reach out to them, or try to mention God in some way. I doubt that not one of them has seen something to do with God. when we end up on something that has to do with God or we get ourselfs in a convo about him someone talking to us about him, it's God speaking through them or that post,tweet,song what ever it is. he will send people to you whether your saved or not. he helps all whether we see it or not but he is always around us always.
+Hacky Sack to be completely honest with you I've never took time to think about that. what I wrote was just from personal experience. when I found God I wasn't going through anything rough and I found him through something a friend told me, and rn I'm going through a tough time for me @ my age and my mind compasity isn't handling it that good. God has really helped through it and I've had people see his light through me and ask me to help them find God. I personally haven't thought about those before but I'm pretty sure all those before us had known of God maybe not lived in him but they knew of him.i just never really took time to go into deep questions and stuff but I can see where you are coming from and what you are getting at.

I never knew the weight of this song until I realized how much of life actually is drowning without Jesus in my day to day life. Suffering and being with Jesus is where we need to be. We learn the most when we are suffering the most. We learn how Good Jesus is when he soothes our pain, then we are compelled to tell others and we are filled with Joy because someone else has found life, just as we did long ago.
I constantly keep listening to this because it preaches to me. i dont only listen cuz the beat i love the message its tellin God to save him from himself because drowning in his sins and at the end that guy was representing God saving him he's safe and i thank God every day for giving me forgiveness after all that I've done.
