Kyoto Animation believe in a beautiful world - though sometimes their heroes take some convincing. Today, I'm talking about three of my favourite shows - The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi, Hyouka and Clannad - and looking at how their cynical leads are won over, time and time again, by a life in colour.
