    I love how both things take way more than 5 minutes unless the freezing process freezes time too and having the bonus of watching the second thing that uses 2 types of sugar. 😊 It all looks great and when I have half a day to find the ingredients and half a day to make it, I will definitely try it.

    The first recipe was banana , strawberry banana & chocolate banana frozen frappe.
    The second was traditional French vanilla ice cream made with egg yolk, cream & sugar
    The third recipe was a ginger snap cookie & nut parfait.

      Use very ripe bananas and skip the honey. You can add a small amount of milk (dairy or non-dairy) or yogurt to help blend it smooth. I also add a bit of vanilla. Peanut butter is also good. You can make many flavor variations.

    First recipe works if you eat it all without left overs and make it fast enough to stay chilled.
    When you put it in the freezer, it will be frozen rock solid.
    Thats a lot of banana/fruit sugar to eat all at once when using solely banana.
    I find using greek yogurt with banana and or strawberry a good alternative and gives you healthly fats and protein verses just fruit sugars.

Then, the 1st container I put Chocolate chip cookies and mixed it good and refroze the Ice Cream. The second container I put Hershey Chocolate syrup and Pecans and Walnuts. Mixed it as good as I could cause it wasn't easy. Re frozes the Ice Cream for 3 hrs. Took it over to my cousins house and fed it to my cousins kids and told them I saw this video so I made my own. Well in my own way. 😊👍Thanks for the video. ❤

    • @gavtex1065
      @gavtex1065 Год назад

      Just for info your blood sugar will respond in much the same way to the ‘natural’ sugar. Some people’s blood sugar goes up more from a banana than from a mars bar. Everyone’s individual response will be different but if your body has blood sugar management issues this likely won’t go well. Sure, it’s ‘better’ than pure sugar as there are ‘some’ nutrients in the banana, and a little (not enough for the amount of sugar really) Fiber but in terms of nutrients there are more nutrients in ice cream made with say raw cream for example than a banana. Though admittedly dairy is problematic for some too. This is not nearly as healthy as many people think though I guess it could be a step in the right direction. I remember doing similar recipes many years ago when I started out my journey of actually thinking about eating healthy.

    Title is misleading. The second recipe has milk, egg yolk and sugar.

      You can also use a blender. I substitute a small jar for the big pitcher to make it easier, and add some liquid (dairy or non-dairy milk or yogurt) and a little vanilla. Use very ripe bananas and you don't need the honey.

      @@Karima540 Of course, this is for a single large or two small servings; using 1.5 (1 1/2) large banana. I just freeze them whole and break them in halves or thirds when I put them into the jar.
