I escaped my fathers imprisonment when I was 14 after being sent to kill the man who killed my mother and he sent goons to bring me and my sister back last year only for him to be killed after he tried to kill me over some bracelets. Having a father is a blessing
So glad y’all post videos like this. Having to learn everything on my own with no help already is hard. We need more father figures like this to teach us young men early so we can have a better life.
People will have to accept reality that we won't ever return to 3%. If sellers must sell, home prices will have to decline, and lower evaluations will follow. Sure I'm not alone in my chain of thoughts, I look towards the stock market to fuel my FIRE goal at this point.
after studying the trajectory of great assets like real estate, dividend paying stocks and gold, my conclusion is to buy and invest in what you can afford today! working with a financial planner can certainly help
@maria_casey real estate prices exploded, interest rates exploded, but my wage the same, i'm screwed.. who is the professional guiding you if you dont mind me asking please?
I’m 20, I just bought my first house a couple months ago. This video is exactly what my lender had me do and I trust him with my life lol, your dad is spot on making that his first point. Seriously guys, don’t just “go anywhere” for a loan! Listen to this man!
Your guys relationship inspired me to strengthen my relationship with my dad. I told my dad I love him for the first time at 29. I'm 30. Keep making a difference.
I appreciate your dad bro. I was never given this advice when I was younger, and I had to learn everything on my own, and still working to it. Much gratitude for the inspiration.
This is an intelligent guy right here all the way around the board. I like his style and swag and I love how he carries himself. The Mens man right there. Salute.
"oh stop complaining, you'd have money if you just worked 60+ hours a week" -Brainwashed Americans born into higher middle/high class families. Ah yes, the American dream. Working so much you don't even have time to actually live in the house you got or enjoy anything really. People are really so blind to the fact that 70% of Americans are one lost paycheck away from losing their apartment while people with money like these people buy 7 houses in 4 different states.
I love watching all the mixed drink recipes and reviews, but I really appreciate these little dad advice tips. I lost my father 4 years ago and as I'm ready to get into this process this is something I would have asked him. It's the little things. Love the content guys ❤.
I know you have released this advice a couple of other times but just wanted to say thank you for some of the things that you said, I was able to get a house in October after freezing my credit for about 8 months, paying down some debt and putting $20,000 in the savings. It's really not that difficult when you lay out the process!
I wish I had this type of guidance when I was young. I had to learn all this the hard way. I thank god I found my wife and we teamed up and made it all happen. I enjoy all your guys video so much. Wish I had a father figure like this growing up!
I appreciate this channel so much. Not only does it posts videos about making delicious drinks and food, but it also gives tips about small but necessary things such as how to tie a tie, how to pack a luggage, and how to buy a house. Really awesome.
I couldn't have a dad like this because if and when he passed id be so lost and dead on the inside. This is the kinda dad that every kid wants and deserves.
Thanks man for sharing such a great thing to receive in life and that’s the knowledge your dads giving and honestly thank you for giving us something some don’t have
Feel like your dad works in or has worked in mortgages. The 2 year work history and not opening new lines of credit/depleting savings for large purchases always held up clear-to-close when I used to be a processor. Love the lifestyle content you guys have worked in! 💜
I like how your father calls you "Sir". I feel many people reserve the term for what you would call an elder but it should be used as mutual respect from man to man.
So straight forward, if I asked my dad he would rant and take 5 hours explaining and get out a bunch of papers and write all of it down and then the next day we would start again on everything when all he has to say is exactly what this great man said
As someone who just bought his first house, this is very solid advice. The only thing I would add is: pay down as much of your debt as possible. I will say it wasnt to difficult buying the house. If I was able to do it most people can. I don't have the greatest credit or credit history. Low debt and steady job were more important.
Great video from a mgt guy. Appraisal costs, home inspection, and homeowners insurance is paid prior to closing. If you’re thinking about saving during the process.
Thank you for that. I already know these stuff but hearing a youtube figure say things that makes sense like this and not some kind of get rich quick makes me feel good.

Short answer: Have money.
"oh stop complaining, you'd have money if you just worked 60+ hours a week" -Brainwashed Americans born into higher middle/high class families. Ah yes, the American dream. Exactly spot on. If you love where you live and work then buy a house if it the prices aren't already unobtainable. I'm glad I got in when I did.
