Awesome video ! I’ve been visiting Las Vegas since 1989 , and I remember that water ride, all of those Egyptian artifacts you’re talking about those things made that casino more beautiful and entertaining, but I never heard of any of those deaths at Luxor ! Very entertaining video ! Thanks for sharing!!
Is nobody going to mention the Bodies Exhibit? Hundreds of dead bodies and body parts, plasticized in the middle of a pyramid, don't seem oddly morbid or, at the very least, attractive to the occult or inviting to the spirit world?
I lived in Vegas for a couple of years and didn't really know anyone. Sometimes, in the late evenings, I would would go to Luxor and walk around. It's on a part of the strip that's not very busy and parking is so easy, plus, Luxor connects to Excalibur and Mandalay Bay so when it was 105 degrees outsides (at night!) it was nice to be able to walk around in an open, climate controlled space. I always wish I could've seen Luxor in its heyday.
It's not swampy lands that cause the sinking since they're in the desert. The ground around Las Vegas is sinking because they've over pumped the groundwater, so the land experiences a phenomena known as subsidence. There is a neighborhood just outside Las Vegas that is sinking and the homes have been destroyed from sinking into the ground.
I rode the ride, it was really cool. It ended in a scalled down replica of Tu Tut Commons tomb exactly how it looked when it was found. It was gone pretty quick... within a couple of years if i remember correctly.
I stayed in the pyramid once and had a freakish experience. Woke up startled and yelling at my brother twice for some reason. The energy of the rooms, the platform hallways leading to each room and how theyre designed and situated are very weird along with the inclinators. It may have been because of that that I freaked. Also, I felt as if I didn't have any control of my senses; there was an energy of the room of it seeming to be very unbalanced. Unsure if that could've been related to the physical structure or maybe the spiritual environment or fung shei being way off. I was sober when this happened. Hope the room and/or floor we had/were on was not the location of any of the unfortunate events that you mentioned. I freaked so bad that I had to ride the inclinators down to the 1st floor in my pjs to have some fresh air to regain myself. This all happened in 1999. I have not stayed there since.
I've stayed here twice and both times I experienced something creepy. Both of these experiences happened at night (of course). First time I noticed a shadow figure on my side of the bed slowly getting taller and taller. I couldn't move or talked but I was able to mumble enough to make it go away. Second time I saw a figure of a tarantula walking across my bed and going under my pillow. I lift the pillow up but nothing was there.
Stop smoking weed before going to bed just drink till you black out, Ghosts will be poking the crap out of you trying to scare you but you'll be balls deep on your pillow knocked the F out not feeling a thang! Don't let them spirits scare you on your vacay! 😉
had a ghost experience at the Luxor! first room on the first floor! shit was crazy, tv turning on and off, shower running, tv not letting itself turn off! and turning on while not plugged in! crazy shit!
I was in a hotel in San Luis Obispo California like that. Had a wicker chair inside the room that kept creaking like someone was sitting in it, sink ran when I was in bed and the door to the room would open to the outside hall on its own.
The buffet started on the 2nd floor. The 2nd floor was there to begin with. I don’t believe the 2nd floor was carpeted. It was also the first hotel to build shower only rooms, doing away with tubs in all or majority of rooms.
Stayed there in May and loved the walkway between Excalibur and Luxor like that. We walked the entire strip from Paris to Luxor and it’s like 5 miles 😂
I stayed in the Luxor pyramid circa 1996 with my girlfriend (now my wife) on her first trip to Las Vegas. I don’t remember many details except the Egyptian theme, the inclinators and the weird feeling looking over the edge of the walkways to the rooms looking down on the casino knowing there’s nothing beneath you. It was a pleasant trip and I never heard of any of the things mentioned in this video!
Just a little insight, I just did some research, it was an urban legend, but it was actually true somewhere in the nineteen nineties, early nineteen nineties, when it opened the girl who jumped landed on what is now the food court, it used to be a buffet, but they ripped everything out and turned it into the food court with the big circle red chairs and moved the buffet down stairs under a roof area , and she jumped from the 26th floor. I stayed on the 16th once , it was very, very high! She had apparently just found out she had aids according to the reports and the hotel acted quickly it said
That story about her having aids is nonsense, a disgusting urban legend or rumour and nothing more. Her name was Sasha Clements and she committed suicide due to past childhood trauma which became too much for her in later life.
the boat ride was removed. When the boat ride went around the casino the stairs went up a half floor and you were on the second level, when they removed it they changed the entrance to go down into the casino. they made it so it could be changed if needed, that is why the entrance is mid level going into the casino.

You got some facts wrong, first the Luxor isn't sinking, nor is the Mandalay Bay. Only during construction of the Mandalay Bay engineers noticed the center core of the building sank 17in and one of the wings sank by 2in. This was caused by excessive and uneven settling of the soil beneath. The issue was solved by installing aroun 500 pipes filled with grout and capped with a hydraulic jack at the end. And second the suicide that happened off of the 26th floor was by a local hooker who decided to jump after she discovered she had contracted HIV. She did land on top of the buffet which was located on the second level where the food court now stands. The buffet is now downstairs below the casino floor because the entire buffet on the mezzanine level was closed down due to the incident and HIV positive blood being scattered throughout the area, forced them to tear down the entire area and i guess you can say rebuild a new area where the old buffet once stood.

My dad had a nervous breakdown while we were on vacation here in 1998. I don't know what his issue is, vacations are when he became more abusive... He tortured me in our pyramid guestroom's bathroom. Hell, maybe it is cursed. It really hasn't changed at all from what I remember about the Luxor.
I just saw a documentary last night about the making thr Luxir. Up in the elevators you could look down on the atrium which covered the whole bottom. They said it was the biggest atrium in the world!
Aww, such Good memories!! We stayed there when they had this ride and motion theater/ride attraction/ In Search of the Obelisk...Very cool experience back then. Also the inclinators were a fun time on the way up to our room! Too bad they took the river Nile out, was so pretty!! The Egyptian artifacts and artwork looked so authentic. 😒
When I used to work there in the year 2000 on the second floor and yes all the theaters on the second floor are haunted. The old boats used to be stored in the parking structure underneath the ramps and the king tuts artifacts were moved to the natural history museum on LVblvd and Washington
The buffet Was moved to the basement level approximately 15 years ago where "The Winds of the Gods" Chariot Show used to be. It's original location was on the Attractions level where the food court now sits.
Ahhh I was wondering where the show was as I did a VERY sad vlog about Stoney the elephant who performed at the Luxor. It'll make you cry. I had a hard time keeping myself together.
Have lived in Vegas. The mob did run Vegas in the 1940's and 1950's. In the 1960's Howard Hugh's purchased casino's and Vegas was becoming more corporate. There was still some element of organized crime in the 1960's and early 70's. But it was just much more underground. When Las Vegas generates so much income it becomes the ideal place to loan and money launder. Thus, making it the ideal place for the mob. It is said, that if you owed the mob, snitched on the mob, or was the mob's rival. You'd more than likely met your own demise. It is said, that the desert surrounding Las Vegas contains a lot of dead corpses from people that crossed the mob!
My mom won a trip to Vegas back around 96. I went with her and my brother and stayed next to the Tropicana in a cheaper hotel. I went to the Luxor with the only gambling money I had to bring. Lost that money in the fastest losing streak ever on blackjack. I couldn’t buy a win. That second floor thing wasn’t there before. Noticed that whole change in 2020 when I finally made it back to Vegas. It’s not the same.
15 years ago or so you could walk in and look up to the ceiling from anywhere. We went in last trip and were shocked to see a ceiling. Used to be really impressive.
When the boat ride went around the casino the stairs went up a half floor and you were on the second level, when they removed it they changed the entrance to go down into the casino. they made it so it could be changed if needed, that is why the entrance is mid level going into the casino.
No. I wasn't sure if that was too controversial or not. Although I've touched on subjects similar in other vlogs like that plane crash. Some thought I was being insensitive.
@@ArroyoVideo Last year in February, when I lived in Yorba Linda CA still, a small plane crashed a few blocks from me. Shook our condo, scared the crud out of us. I ran outside and caught footage of the flames. I didn't go to the site til a few weeks later.

Cool vid. I was meditating after securing a place to see Tutankhaten exhibition in London. I was taken back to being 24 on a trip to the Luxor March 2001 and got that when I went, I 'blessed it' (due to an ancient Egyptian life) So started on youtube. OK...this is why its 'cursed' They are using sacred Egyptian practices and artifacts in a place that is all about money - dirty money. Big no no. If this was one casino that played its games but used profits to help others, then it would have been a different story. Mob antics under the ground, well thats soon cleared, and that beacon is powerful, when channeled correctly. Prob some satanic worship thing going on there with peeps involved in the place. Loved the hotel as it had much more Egyptian feel. Hated having to sit through a sea of naked dancing women tho when there should have been naked men dancing for us ladies ;)
I've been there many times ! There is something weird about that place ! The clientele seem to be a lot of swingers ! The hotel gives off an energy of death ! My buddy had a room near the top of the hotel ! I wasn't at all impressed with the room ! I remember the water ride !
Probably doesn't help that they have a "Bodies" exhibit and the 'Titanic exhibit with artifacts of the long dead. I'm sure that would play tricks on someone's mind. And on top of that, the many suicides inside the atrium.
Two Sphinx would protect the casino and everything to do with it. People that are superstitious wouldn’t gamble there for fear of not being able to take casinos cash.

And how would people know if she had contracted HIV? Utter bullcrap. Any death resulting in massive blood loss to any area of a building especially with food around would be a biohazard incident, it would have to be specially cleaned, changed and renovated regardless of HIV.
The food court was moved because her suicide could have resulted in killing someone bellow and that's why they moved it for safety reasons
Lmao shut up.
I just saw a documentary last night about the making thr Luxir. Up in the elevators you could look down on the atrium which covered the whole bottom. They said it was the biggest atrium in the world!
I rode the Nile ride in the mid 90's👍
ruclips.net/video/iiuijUuwvFA/видео.html nile river ride link
So did I, I lived there for about 5yrs. It looks very different now
Aww, such Good memories!!
Also had a few ghost encounters and the girl who jumped and landed on the buffet that now is the food court on the second floor
Which is now the buffet area? Down the elevator where that pharaoh's heads are carved
We stay here every January. This would freak my wife out lol
Oh no. Oops.😮
Yikes, I've heard that too but it's still creepy. I wonder if there was a specific "dumping ground" for the mob to do their revenge.
when it was first opened, people would submit images of odd lights that occurred in the casino...
The (un) Lucky Dragon is the one that was really cursed.
Oh yeah. That didn't stay open longer than a year, right?
We stayed in 2007 and we both got sick..my now ex had stomach cramps for 24 hours..we never get sick..weird..or just too much food?🇬🇧🎸🤘
Or could it be.....the Curse of the Luxor?
@@LetYrLiteShine I think it was the curse..we eventually broke up!
@@switchbladeromance1466 Oh no.
Thank you, that was a great walk through. Most of them don't give as much information as you do.
You welcome.
Miss the Sega World that was upstairs
I stayed here 2 years ago and got locked out of my room not once, but twice - the curse is real!
That's no fun.
15 years ago or so you could walk in and look up to the ceiling from anywhere. We went in last trip and were shocked to see a ceiling. Used to be really impressive.
I thought I remember that too.
When the boat ride went around the casino the stairs went up a half floor and you were on the second level, when they removed it they changed the entrance to go down into the casino. they made it so it could be changed if needed, that is why the entrance is mid level going into the casino.
More videos like this please 🤙🏻
I'll do my best.😁
I was curious if you were going to mention the massacre that happen directly across the sphinx.
No. I wasn't sure if that was too controversial or not. Although I've touched on subjects similar in other vlogs like that plane crash. Some thought I was being insensitive.
@@LetYrLiteShine Plane crash?! I'll have to look into that. Yeah, you're right it would be too controversial.
@@ArroyoVideo Last year in February, when I lived in Yorba Linda CA still, a small plane crashed a few blocks from me. Shook our condo, scared the crud out of us. I ran outside and caught footage of the flames. I didn't go to the site til a few weeks later.
LetYrLiteShine post it with a warning. I never believed in conspiracies until the Vegas shooting. I knew several people in Vegas that night and they all tell the story different. Anyway, I love this stuff.
We are in America post what ever you wan’t who cares about people’s feelings I sure don’t. No need to punish everyone for a few cry babies. Do as you like can’t please everyone
They took the boats, and river ride out, because it was causing condensation problems, upstairs, in the rooms!
I love staying here! I never win much on their slot machines tho! I think they did move the buffet after that incident!
Stayed there 3 times before. Never did I see, get a negative vibe, hear anything that creeped me out. Pretty cool place don’t know why people don’t like staying there? 🤷🏻♂️ don’t believe everything you read or hear.
its this still open?
4:30 look at that lonely Corona sitting on the Game King machine.
A full lonely Corona at that.
Dont drink it! You might get the Corona Virus.
Cool vid. I was meditating after securing a place to see Tutankhaten exhibition in London. I was taken back to being 24 on a trip to the Luxor March 2001 and got that when I went, I 'blessed it' (due to an ancient Egyptian life) So started on youtube.
OK...this is why its 'cursed'
They are using sacred Egyptian practices and artifacts in a place that is all about money - dirty money.
Thanks for that info. Very interesting and funny at the end.😊
Maybe cursed, definitely wouldnt think it is haunted though. It's only almost 30 years old. Now the Flamingo, that place HAS to be haunted.
I need to do a vlog on the Flamingo soon.
I've been there many times ! There is something weird about that place ! The clientele seem to be a lot of swingers ! The hotel gives off an energy of death ! My buddy had a room near the top of the hotel ! I wasn't at all impressed with the room ! I remember the water ride !
Beautiful scenery
I was a dancer for Cirque du Soleil Criss Angel show here believe. I know everything1😄😜💕
Is all this true ?
Every big casinos in Vegas has the same kinda stories.
It’s probably cursed cause they built it in 18months from trailer park to opening . That’s pretty fast
I've stayed there before. I really like this hotel. Never ran into any ghost.
What floor were you on?
Same here it's the only hotel I've stayed at twice and enjoyed it both times
My colleagues stayed at Luxor on Oct 1, 2018. I missed my flight. My colleagues got caught up in the shooting from Mandalay Bay next to Luxor.
Love the video. Love slots and ghost stories and hauntings!!!!! ❤️We subbed
Thank you so much.👍😊
Cool place... but it's got it's curse..tough break!Rock on Luxor!!
Another great video, love the insider info & secrets! 👍
Thank you.😁
Probably doesn't help that they have a "Bodies" exhibit and the 'Titanic exhibit with artifacts of the long dead. I'm sure that would play tricks on someone's mind. And on top of that, the many suicides inside the atrium.
That is creepy and a good point.
Adding an eye on the cap stone will start a lot of illuminati conspiracy's
I've heard that with the Bellagio Conservatory.
Guess how many ppl died building it.
How many? 👁👄👁
What about that’s the hotel that tupac stayed in night of his murder too
Well that's crazy.
black john snow we stayed in that hotel nothing happened
No he stayed at MGM Grand.
The fight happened at MGM, he actually was staying at the Luxor with Quincy Jones daughter.
They moved the Food court to the bottom because of the blood splatter
Two Sphinx would protect the casino and everything to do with it. People that are superstitious wouldn’t gamble there for fear of not being able to take casinos cash.
Hmmm...interesting.
I stay there 2x a year for many year never seen anything, but like the video
the buffet was actually moved after the girl jumped so i heard
The buffet originally was located upstairs in the entertainment area
no it wasnt
@@williefisterbottoms5032 yes it was
Casino used to be on the open floor. They have changed it all since then.
Not sure if it’s still there, but there used to be a shop that sold genuine Egyptian antiquities in Luxor. I picked up a few ancient coins there...
That's cool.
Was it called relics
Stayed there years ago with my best friend we met 2 hot chicks at the Excalibur we took them back to the luxor where were staying and went around the inside river ride and ended up having a night that I will never forget the girls were from a tv station in Waco texas if I can recall it was after the big thing that happened at the religious compound awesome night
Wow sounds like quite a night.
Damn just went there a week ago and I'm from Waco!
Prob moved the egyptian artifacts back to THE MET, where there's an unending block of all things Egyptian- disturbing worship.
It was open on my bday but way before I was born
