Great video and explanation! One thing I still wonder, when two large crawlers lift extremely heavy loads in tandem (say an LR11000 and LR11350 together) can they select a certain speed so that both go the exact same speed together? I was crazy about cranes 15 years ago but this is one thing I just never had the chance to learn.
I’m a CPCS trained crawler crane operator and would like to know as I was taught how to pull tracks in and push them out when rigging and de-rigging. Also, I watch your LTR video on the Lieber do you have any other tutorial videos on any other LTR crawler cranes? I’m not gonna lie but I actually feel stupid asking but I’d rather do my home work and get it right than say nothing and and make a mistake
@@TristamMayes I am operating tower cranes. Started the job on crawler and then started operating tower crane there it is has been 3 years ago from now
good morning this and a ship in such a lot, if God will soon I will be in one of these, and I will also thank you very much for the explanations, when there is time, make more videos for us there
One curious question now answered. Well done sir, thank you for the video 👍👍
This is amazing. I’m a truck trivet and I move these cranes piece by piece every day. I’ve always wondered what it was like to operate one.
Can't beat a Leibherr ! Im running our LR1400 today, its a picking beast!

What about when you have to crawl up a couple of steps onto layers of wooden padding?
I just got my lattice boom cert and I’ve always wondered.

What does f3 do next to the track? Is it for cylinders on the tray and do you have to hold the function button on joystick to engage the cylinders?
Spot on mate yes that’s exactly correct
Thank you so much friend👍 I love Liebherr cranes too. Do you have any experience by Terex Demag? All the best, be well...
Yes Iv lots of experience with the CC2800, really nice crane.
Crazy! There is a lot to learn on these big machines. Have you been to Liebherr for training.
You are spot on there’s a lot to get your head around in these machines and yes I’m factory inducted on most Liebherrs and Demags.
Hello Tristam, wicked vid. Where about is it this site?
