LMP2 looks boring with mostly Nissan and A couple of Judds. I gotta go with the Shank Honda if they make the cut. GT Pro looks like the highlight of this years race.
The Twin turbo V6 makes as much power as the old 7liter V8 did but burns less fuel and the less fuel they use the less often they must stop for more and the less of it they need to carry around the track in the car.Consider the fuel used to accelerate that 700lb Big Block and the fuel it would use up to speed and the brake wear caused by slowing it all down for each corner... and then accelerating it again... ANY mass they can avoid carrying with them makes them faster

The Ford GT just won the biggest race of the year...The 24hr of LeMans, by blowing away Ferrari's 488 V8- Aston Martin's Vantage V8 and Chevy's V8 Corvette. The GT's were the fastest and had pole position and also won the race.It's past time that your brain needs a software update, a company like Ford doesn't need an overweight hulking gas gosling engine like what Dodge puts in it's Viper to win a race. Anyone can make an engine put out a lot of hp but to make it get great fuel economy also is another thing. With good power and fuel economy is what kept the car on the track running and not staying in the pits refueling all the time. Just stop crying for the past son, and live in today's time.You sound just like that ol' dumb ass Donald Trump " Make America Great again". Well America is already great and so is Ford.

In France, there is one channel (Eurosport) that is showing all session (practice / qualifying) and 27 hours live for the race.
