The Astros basically have 1 half of the season left, this is when they will turn things around 💪
One can only hope. But they are getting things to gether.
Honest question for ya…do u honestly believe the astros would be on a game winning streak if they had faced better teams than the lowly White Sox and Rockies? They might’ve won the series against a better team but, not continued a streak.
And do u honestly believe that brown and arragehti would have 2 wins each in their last 2 starts if they would have faced a better team in each of those 2 starts? I doubt it.
I can see that all of a sudden ur getting ur hopes up high in the astros chances of making the playoffs but, u honestly think that a broken down verlander, blanco and a pitcher who has struggled against good teams in valdez are going to carry y’all? Good luck!
And if u think that y’all are going to trade for a good pitcher during the trade deadline that easy u might want to think twice…more likely the astros will have to give up something that is in ur current roster because no one wants anything out of ur depleted farm system and the astros won’t take on a player who is still owed big money for several more years, especially when they need all the money they have in order to extend bregman who will probably end up walking either way.

It’s probably due to the fact that the astros local media and some in the national media have puffed up the astros so much over the years that an astros fan will simply ignore all those other things

What's even more shocking to me during this streak is that they're doing it without arguably their best player: Kyle Tucker. Seems Espada finally took my advice (except for this game) and started playing Dubon at first and playing him every day. We saw Singleton at first and, even though he got a hit, he looked at a pitch right down the middle with the bases loaded and struck out. I can't fathom why he's even on this team still. Next up is a hot Mets team that just demolished the Stankees. We need Tucker and his big bat back in the line-up. GO STROS!
The Astros are quite irresponsible regarding IL information… the said Tucker had some pain, minor injury and the guy is almost off for one month now… luckily every other bat woke up…

Why did mlb place these teams as interleague rivals meaning they play 4 games yearly against each other. It should be Rockies vs Rangers and Astros vs DBacks for their respective interleague rivals
There's no real rivalry connection anyway. What difference does it make? Tuscon used to be the AAA club for the Astros many years ago, but that hardly makes for a rivalry now.

Yep. Same problems, different day. I thought we learned about when to take Feltner out of games, but I guess not. Lost any chance we had at a comeback. At least we scored. Also, 3 GRDs in this game, that's an oddity. Anyways, a day off before the illustrious "Tank Series" against Chicago (sorry White Sox fans, we're both suffering bad right now). Sell the team, please.
