Cowser has had a great last 2 days. Yesterday and today, great baserunning leads to bases clearing hits. That slide to first was the 1st, maybe the 2nd time I've ever seen it actually work.

These last two wins are huge for us. We've been lacking in the clutch for awhile and it's two games in a row with heroics.
as a baseball fan, glad to see the o's get their fire back. as an astros fan, hate that its against us lol.
If only Singleton ran to the ball instead of waiting for it coming to him
1st basemen do not charge a bouncing baseball. Singleton did the right thing waiting for it, what should have happened was Framber hustling to 1st base to cover.

@@Baller-ry1muyou've clearly never played the position, or the game. Singleton played that ball pretty much exactly how every other 1st baseman does. Frambers fatass should've gotten over there

It was an odd angle but I do agree that it could've been a game changer. I think Espada needs to start Big Jon more. Whenever he gets consistent time he does MUCH better than playing every 3 days. What do you think about this?
To the Astros: defense can win you ball games and it can also lose you ball games. Got to be better than that!
Plus, we really needed to give Framber more run support today.
Defense was horrid in this series. Full stop.

The rotation and bullpen are decimated by injury. The offense has been slumping. It’s perfectly acceptable to be proud of these guys for hanging tough.
Framber didn't deserve the loss.
No he was on fire. The Os was glad to see him go

Yes, bullpen ERA's should be calculated based on what percentage of runs they allow in. Like if they come in with a runner on second and allow that runner to score, they should be responsible for half of the run. Maybe a little less since they didn't make him the baserunner in the first place, but still...

Another tough loss for the astros but still a great game. The O's are heating up after being on a bit of a slump and their entire lineup has been dangerous. Holliday's been looking a lot better too and will be a star one day for sure. Now hopefully our pitchers can get past these last couple games and do better on Sunday Night Baseball tomorrow. good game Orioles 👍
Yeah. It's been tough for the O's trying to find ways to overcome all the injuries. I doubt they'll make it far without Bradish, Means, Westburg and Bautista for the year and now without GRod and Eflin for a while along with missing their 2 best middle relievers in Coulombe and Webb. They're not giving up though.

you can dfa dezenzo, he's bad but not singleton. he's been floating around a 240 ba and a 700 ops all season , and he hits a lot of homers. Jo Espada needs to actually give him more playing time becausehe does better with consistent time

Crowley I'd heard of, not sure he is a HOF'er, but the other guys I never heard of. Better tighten up the guidelines for induction, or the O's HOF will be a laundry list of average talent.

@@BillyBall35 no, I have not, and I'm a former invitee to 3 MLB tryouts after my college career and a 22-year retired coach who has been very close to the game since 1964; again I say there is a level of recognition beyond just local neighborhood that is required to be a true HOF player. I am fully certain if a poll was taken, less than 20% (ie at the wrong end of the 80/20 rule) would recognize that player's name. Crowley is even borderline, imo. Such inductees lower the prestige of being a high impact and well-known player named to that HOF.
I don’t understand the confusion on the one in the dirt for the maybe strikeout. If he swings and misses, it’s the third strike. What gives?

Injuries are killing us. This loss was 100% on Espada and Singleton! Leaving Framber in the game with 100 pitches is insane! Framber didn’t deserve the loss :( It’s all good Espada is still learning we will be back for Sunday night baseball and tie the series!!!! GO ASTROSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!
He got a grounder that should have ended the inning. Nothing wrong with Manager's decision. You have to show confidence in pitchers, or else they regress.
Mariners lost to Giants, so today was no real impact.
@@rayrussell6258 Astros ain’t worried about the Mariners. They should try to get a top 2 seed to get a bye in the wc! Because if I’m the Astros I don’t wanna face a team like the Royals, Twins, or Yankees/Orioles! And Espada was a HUGE reason why we lost. You don’t just leave a pitcher like Framber who really breaks down when you leave him in the game for that many pitches!
Os are more injured than the Astros with half the payroll
Killing you? The O’s have 5 starters injured, Felix Bautista one of the best closers in the league, Jordan westburg a great contact hitter, Danny Coulombe who is a great reliever, etc.
