A true star tonight👍. His artistry was best among these stiff, wobbly Juniors. Better than most Seniors, in my opinion. I fell in love with him and I’ll continue to watch Men Skating just cuz of him. I’m curious to see what a brilliant future this young man will show us❤️💐⛸👏
Even without podium, he’s still the most promising skater in junior men’s field imo. At 13yo he already has sublime skating and presentation skill. If he can improve technical elements when he matures, having 3A and quads, he will definitely be on men’s podium even on senior level.

if minkyu works on his lutz he can get on the podium.still kudos to this young skater he have lots of potential as a 13 years old. can't wait to see him grow.
If you search his Korean nationals FS of this same program, you can see how large an improvement he's made in just 9 months. His coaches and he have increased his speed, especially going in and out of each jump, and really improved his "hammer toe" on his toe jumps, especially the 3T. It's a tremendous amount of progress for just one summer.
The future is really bright for korean men skating. Good job, Minkyu!
