I must admit XG hits different.. best dancers in a girl group I’ve ever seen .. they let it look so easy.. their songs are top tier.. left and right is one of my favorite songs this year (happy NOT having some experimental breaks, the flow was perfect). They have another quality on them, singing, dancing, rapping, performing - the full package!!
"Left Right" charted on the Top 40 U.S. Pop Radio chart for a record 13 consecutive weeks an all-time record for any Asian girl group ever. There is also an official remix of "Left Right" with XG, Jackson Wang and R&B Legend Ciara.
XG can DANCE dance... they have the technical skills and the swag/attitude to execute hip hop and make it believable, unlike most idol gg's. On top of having the best female rap line you're gonna find in a gg, excellent singers, a small but already super diverse discography, and they genuinely seem like they're just living their best lives, especially when they get to perform. They were born for this!
XG's MVs are always a treat and such good quality but man sometimes in the dance practice videos they shine a lot too because you can see the intricacies of their movements
To me this is SOTY. I’ve listened to it countless times (just like songs from many other artists) but this is a song I don’t skip like 98% of the time. I consider it to be extremely harmonic from beginning to end. It just feels perfectly balanced. I could even go into detail why each members parts and order in which they appear are so important to the song but I don’t wanna make this comment too long. Also I absolutely love the choreography!😍

What I love about XGs M/Vs is the cinematography, the filming, the cuts, the editing, the performances/choreography. This is superb direction and film/video making. Paying homage to Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey and Star Wars like space themes. This is their concept, aliens/otherworldly DNA/ not entirely human yet friendly visitors from another galaxy. I hope Simon and XG continues with this theme and concept into 2024.

The chorus seems chill because it doesnt have progression from the verses this is because theyre trying to emulate early 2000s R&B as shown in the MV
XG is just different. Their dancing skills is amazing, not many groups can do it like these.
