Afternoon Grey. Great review on a good looking product. Powdered foods are the hardest without adding secondary brown lunch type bags...to me that is a huge plus.

I love it. I wish it was bigger, but it's still way better than anything I've owned. Does that do the lids on jars too? Oh, I spoke too soon, that hose thing will connect to the jar, lid sealing thingy I already use for the food saver.
Hey Sam, yes, I've used this to seal dang near everything at this point 🤣 For Mylar, you just adjust the seal time higher, which applies more heat. For me, the sweet spot was 7-8 secs, depending on the thickness of the Mylar.
It’s a wonderful machine, but it sounds like everything is for the refrigerator and I want to freeze a lot of my things that I vacuum seal….. I’ll go look it up and see if if they sell freezer bags……. But I very much like the fact that it vacuum seals liquids.!!!!!!!

@KT-yq7ed 16.5 lbs, and you can use any bags with it. I've used Mylar Bags and food saver ones as well. And yes, I put them in the freezer.

I was truly surprised at how well it handled everything I threw at it. 😁 They do make a bigger one as well.

Absolutely! You are not pressure canning it. It’s just a better bag than a ziplock bag. And food lasts longer because air is out.

Do they have blsck bags? Dark places like the freezer, etc. Are they resealable? If so, can you wash them out? I say so but let me ask.
I don't think they have black bags, but they're compatible with every bag I've tried so far, including mylar.

@KT-yq7ed I'd assume you could use freezer sealer bags because I've used food saver & Mylar bags with this system.
