Dan is from Brazil. You won't be disappointed in your trip down the rabbit hole. Dan has 200+ videos in his catalog and can sing any genre from Opera to heavy metal but his home is based in metal. Every song has powerful vocals and he bring you along on an emotional journey. He loves the Witcher and does a few songs including Toss A Coin. Some suggestions for you: Bring Me To Live, Sound Of Silence, Music Of The Night, My Life, Bohemian Rapsody, Dawn Of A New Day and his latest is My Heart Will Go On. Definitely, do "Toss A Coin To Your Witcher" and all of his other Witcher songs -"The Song Of The White Wolf" - "Priscilla's Song" (both original and metal from the game) - "Burn Butcher Burn" (my absolute favorite). He doesn't always turn everything metal. Others you might check out are: "Bring Me To Life" and "My Immortal" (Evanescence), "Kiss From A Rose" (SEAL - featuring Violet Orlandi), "Music Of The Night" (Phantom of the Opera)......... the list goes on and on.... looking forward to more of Dan. Even if you are not a fan of metal music, Dan's brand of metalized non metal songs have a way of making metalheads of us all ... st least for Dan's metal, lol! I don't really bother with other metal singers because, frankly, they've all been thoroughly out sung by Dan, even on their own original songs. Dan just does it better.
Anyhoo, don't let a little Dan-metal scare you off! Many of his metalized songs (look for word metal in title) are very tastfully done and always melodic and powerful. Songs like ... Kiss From a Rose, Rolling in the Deep, and Heaven is a Place on Earth, will ease you gently into metal. Then youll be ready for some of Dan heavier stuff, A Tale Without End (a Dan original!), The Number of the Beast, Blind and Frozen. 😊

Hail VascNation! There are so many things I could say about Dan but it would take me hours to type it all. Dan was classically trained and when you fall down the rabbit hole you’ll hear his training when he sings. His late father gave him the harmonica when Dan was a young kid. He and his father would sit and listen to opera. If you want to be blown away, watch Dan perform Nessun Dorma from Puccini’s Turandot. He performs it full opera and no metal. Same with Gethsemane from Jesus Christ Superstar and Music of the Night from Phantom of the Opera. And yes, Dan is a Christian. He’s got well over 200 covers and it’s a mix of metal, rock, hymns, folk, musicals, opera, etc. He is incredibly versatile and skilled. He covers a metal song called Black Wind, Fire, and Steel by Manowar. He holds the last note for over 30 seconds; which is insane. He’s from Brazil but he’s half Brazilian and half Italian (father). He soeajs English fluently and his accent faint. Recently Dan covered the titanic song by Celine Dion. As a metalhead myself, I think he actually “fixed” the song. With that all said, many Dan fans just say well, there’s Dan doing Dan things 😂. Oh, and if you watch his older covers he usually did an outro so please watch those. His catch phrase at the end is “have an epic day”. A record label tried signing Dan but he refused. He wants to stay independent so he can do “Dan things” where as he’d be tied down by the record label. He’s so close to 1Million subscribers and that’s his goal right now. I’m sorry……I babbled on forever about him. I just can’t help it. 1 more thing…..he covered Handels hallelujah and he sang all parts. A 1 man choir. There are 24 little Dans singing in the video. Incredible.

I can’t imagine that anybody would have an opinion that ‘metal singers’ can’t sing? That is one of the most challenging genres to master. I would guide whomever those people are to watch the very detailed analysis by professional musicians such as Peter Barber, Ken Lavigne, Elizabeth from the Charismatic Voice (I believe all 3 are opera singers), to name a few. They were all very much in awe of Dan Vasc’s incredible vocal skills.

This was the first time I have seen you girls and I am always so happy to see reactors watching Dan sing his stunning version of this song. It was my first experience one year ago just after he released Amazing Grace on Easter. I was alone at home and was left with my mouth open because I had never liked Metal Music. Dan converted me after the first two lines and most of 2023 was spent watching his videos and listening to his chats afterward As a sidenote you asked "Whio knows how to play the harmonica" . When I saw him start playing it I was SO thrilled, because my father joined a professional Harmonica Band in the 1930's. They were famous all over America and Europe and were in a few movies. Someone needs to start another harmonica band !! Ladies, I will do my best to follow you as you follow Dan. You will love everything he does and always be surprised as he is SO creative. The perception that metal singers "can´t do anything else" is so weird. Metal singer, for the most part, are the most versatile singers out there. An usually they, as metal musicians in general, interested in other forms of music as well. In my country we have the most metal bands per capita, and most of them are versatile in music and some of the biggest metal artists are, or have been music teachers in schools. And that said, metal is, in my opinion, the most versatile genre of music.
Im 52.ive been into metal since the late 80s.I used to think they could only sing metal.then over the years i realised most of these guys can sing opera.Most of them have amazing ranges..Ronnie Radke is a good example.this guy can hit really low and high octaves..My dad whom is a christian and doesnt like metal (more country) and thats how i found this guy.this is one of the best versions of this song ive heard.It should always be sung like this.absolutly beautiful
