Lol, I wish I had NPC wars for my dreams, my dreams are just weird as fuck, lmao. This was an awesome battle mate! The way you set up your NPC battles always make them really entertaining. I especially get a kick out of the ones with Combine forces in them since your Combine SNPCs are especially high quality (and also because I'm a huge Combine fan, lol).
I noticed you were looking for suggestions for NPC Wars in your pinned comment. With this in mind, do you think we could see the Helghast Army go up against Combine forces in a future video? That's a crossover I always wanted to see since I was a youngin'. I also thought adding both Overwatch Soldiers and Civil Protection Officers for the Combine's side could be interesting as well; it also might help them combat the Helghast Army's wide variety of Troopers. As much as I'd like to suggest rp_salvation by MonarchMonk for the map since it looks a whole lot like Helghan (to the point where I used it for screenshots of my Killzone 2 SNPCs), the AI nodes for the map can be a mixed bag because sometimes I find that the AI works fine and other times they get stuck. Hopefully that's just me but if you end up or have had difficulties with the map, I'd suggest choosing whichever map you'd think is best for the battle because unfortunately there aren't many Helghan-looking maps for Gmod that are properly noded and/or NPC War material (gm_atomic is a pretty close second when it comes to looking like Helghan and being well noded but there's not much areas that could work for NPC battles in the map). If you're interested, I could also write up some lore for it once the video comes out since I've had an idea on how a Helghast vs Combine conflict could start for a long time.
Only if we could control our dreams lol, also awesome idea for the NPC wars, didn't think of that! and feel to write a little story and send it here! When I get the chance, I can try to make a video of it!

I'm currently in the process of updating a few weapons sounds for my Killzone 2 mod and adding a Helghast Drone SNPC to it as well, which will probably add to the battle quite nicely. The update was actually supposed to come out sooner but I got hit with the flu last weekend so I had to take it easy for a bit; better late than never though. I was actually going to post the full lore I wrote for it on the comment section of the video of the battle once it comes, out but as for a short version for now, it's set in an alternative timeline where after the ISA managed to combat the Helghast invasion of their home-world, Vekta (as seen in Killzone 1), plans for a counter invasion on Helghan by the ISA (as seen in Killzone 2) are cut short when the Unviseral Union invades Earth, which is when the 7 Hour War takes place in this timeline. This is particularly significant because Earth is home to the United Colonial Nations, which oversees and governs all ISA-owned planets, as well as several other colonies across the galaxy. After the Universal Union's swift victory against the United Colonial Army, the Overwatch Transhuman Arm and Civil Protection are quickly formed, and the Universal Union leaves behind a garrison force comprised of various Synths seen in Half-Life 2 as well as the newly created human forces of the Combine Empire. The Combine's garrison forces on Earth begin to reverse engineer the United Colonial Nations' space travel technology and use it to set out and conquer all human-inhabited planets in the galaxy and rid humanity of Instinct, Ignorance, and Decay (It's also worth noting that Civil Protection Units in this timeline are better trained for interplanetary invasions and thus are often seen in joint operations with Overwatch Soldiers during planet invasions. This is because the Universal Union deemed this a better strategy than having to train more Civil Protection Officers for every planet they conquer). Upon receiving news about the sudden alien invasion on Earth, the ISA Forces on Vekta are forced to cancel their plans to invade Helghan in order to prepare for an on-coming attack from the Combine. This is where the Combine eventually set their sights on Vekta and Helghan, where they actually decide to invade Helghan first because they believe that the amount of resources that they can capture from the planet will benefit them on their attack on Vekta. Though the Combine forces were expecting a swift invasion that will get them better equipped for the invasion of Vekta, they are caught off guard by the military might of the Helghast Army, which possess advanced technology that is greater than what they were expecting. The Helghast however, were less aware of the Combine's recent presence in the galaxy than the ISA and other United Colonial Nations owned colonies, and thus are equally caught off guard by the alien forces and technology from the Combine. Despite this however, the Helghast Army has always been motivated by vengeance and conquest, and their xenophobic attitude towards non-Helghast are amplified upon the sight of the alien nature of the Combine, and are now especially motivated to defend Helghan from what they see as freakish and disgusting invaders and eradicate all traces of the Combine's forces. In response, the invading Combine Forces would much contempt towards the Helghast, notably from Civil Protection Units who are absolutely devoted to the Universal Union's cause and will stop at nothing to vanquish all who oppose it. What results is a large and bloody conflict where both sides are giving it their all.
Hopefully that all sounds interesting, even if it was quite the read, lol. You can expect the comment I'll eventually post on the video to have a lot more structure. In addition, I found a map I think would be a good pick for the battle. It's "rp_deadcity" by Shen and NuclearGhost. Despite all the grass, trees, and Soviet imagery, I think the war-torn buildings and general tone of the map are pretty Helghan-ish. The AI Nodes in the map are also really good, so I think it'd be the best map for the battle. It could also help if you pretend the statue of Lenin is a statue of Scolar Visari, lol. If you'd like, I can DM you and Discord to let you know when the update for my mod comes out :)
