I love how detailed you are about everything.
This is the video that I've been waiting for. I've been trying to do this for a few years now and although I've had some success, it's never been perfect. I didn't know that a gradual slope is preferred on the EQ. Makes perfect sense the way you explain it. Never ever thought about using the Quadra Fuzz. Not to mention having the upper part in stereo! Wow! Thank you for all this!
Thanks Jeremy, I appreciate it!!
Just to say thanks indeed, this really works. Tried it on the bass and the result was very realistic, got a perfect tone like never ever before. Much appreciated.
Steve !! I'm another Steve ...thank you so much for this !!! This is some real pro engineering knowledge !!
Thanks Steve, you’ve transformed my Cubase efforts!
I really appreciate your vids. As an Cubase user, this channel is one of my favorites. Cheers from Sweden.
First-time viewer. I'm glad that I already use a couple of your suggestions. (good DI, Countryman) I use my fave the Ampeg B-15 plug-in, but knew nothing of the splits and soft x-over slope. I learned more than I knew so Thank-you. Been using Cubase since forever & that helps too. All the Best to You and Yours.
Excellent advice here. Subbed 👍
You, dom, and Chris are my only Fav cubase tutorial.
Thanks Dennis!
@@Featherlightstudio You're Most welcome sir. Thank you for every tutorial. ❤️
Definitely learned a lot from this, many thanks for this.
Thank you so much for these suggestions. I had experimented with a similar idea in Cubase, but you seem to have already refined the details. I was just about to get to work, so I am starting with this.
Hey, I enjoy your videos and live learned a lot! I'm curious on your recommendations on bass strings that would be best for the deep low old school country sound?
Thank you
A lot of that old country bass vibe comes from using flats for sure. If that's a little to dark for you, than pure nickel round wound strings like GHS Boomers or Rotosounds give you great tone without that rock/Metal growl or zing.
Love your work bro
Thanks, I appreciate that!!
good stuff here. Curious about panning the pick sound. Does it make it sound un centered ?
Moving the pick sound is just another tool to use when structuring your mix in the stereo field. It can create a subtle sense of space, especially when the effect is automated, as we are not actually moving the fundamental.
Found you!!!
Heh brotha!!
u cant. to get massive bass in cubase, u can only buy bass loops thats recoded good!!!!!!
