The knowledge Rick has about history and almost anything manufactured in the past is amazing. I've seen him on multiple shows and he's fascinating to listen to.
@@robertjohnston8541 Of COURSE it's all scripted. From the moment the show starts it's scripted. ALL reality shows are 100% scripted. Everyone knows this. I've seen Rick on multiple interviews, away from this tabloid show, and he is a wealth of knowledge on many, many subjects, especially history. Don't take my comment here and capsulize it down to this clip alone, based on my actual comment. That's ignorant. Check him out on several interviews from The History Channel and others. YES, this whole show was scripted down to who was allowed to be an "extra" in the background doing shooting (I actually worked with someone who's neighbor was on the show and they explained how the store was closed that day during filming and it was very early in the morning) but don't discount this guy's knowledge of history. So Robert, yes, I'm fully aware that THIS segment is directed and has a script, but how about in his candid interviews? Read my comment in its whole form; I never mentioned THIS clip at all. Good luck selling that one for that price. The real value was having five minutes of interesting video for this episode. This pistol model was better design and utility than presented here. Great cavalry pistol for one hand manipulation for firing.

This is the first time when I've seen them NOT ask how much they want before calling an expert!
It's rare. But it happens.
@Captain Peppers better to make some off one person multiple times than take advantage of them. Loyalty can make people money.

Someone wins the negotiations against these people
Fans of this show: weird noises of satisfaction
Found one exactly like that in a wooden case along with a knife in a vintage shop priced for a little over 2,000 dollars I believe. Real cool.
This guy is the best negotiator I've ever seen on this show.

non native speaker here, what does that mean?
The old man was the coolest guy in the shop
I like this guy and the guy with the books. They are the best "regulars" on the show.
The guy with the books gives in too easily though. Unless they have a side agreement that Rick calls Rebecca in every time he brings in a book.
Adam ( regular book seller ) just needs to adapt Rob's haggling skills and become tough like nails while negotiating with Rick.

Mr. Brown and Henry S. North and Edward Savage designed the Savage Navy Civilian famously.
I have to agree with the old man on this one. Like him I too served in the “Worlds Greatest Navy.”
Craig always snorts 3 lines before he gets called in
Of course the Old Man said anything from the US Navy is high class, he was a US Navy veteran.

Navy steel is by far THE BEST!! Things had to work even exposed to tons of salt water!
That's a good point! If you're selling steel to the navy, you can't compromise on the quality or, sooner or later, they'll know 😅
