Wanna thank you guys for your patience for this episode. The Spring and Summer months were rough for me and just getting things under control. Expect the Baby Gohan vs Kefla (Nov) OVA to drop first followed by Gohanverse Episode 15 (Dec/Jan). In the meantime, expect Mt. Lady's KWC episode week after next.

Oni King Piccolo is way cooler than Orange Piccolo in my opinion
Entertaining work as always. One issue though...the sounds in the fist brawn in the beginning felt weird. That aside another great addition to the series!

This form started with general skepticism on the part of a lot of people, but I'm pretty sure that many, after this episode, changed their minds.
Saibaman was clearly a beast sent to the slaughter, but in his final moments he still managed to look disturbing. Among other things, the gag of the decapitated head used as a hand grenade is very funny.
Everything suggests that Piccolo intends to reach Baby to actually free El Hermano and obtain a further power up, with Absalon on the front line to stop him. The whole Cell thing... I'm guessing they're seeds for season three (?)
Na I mean, the hair is definitely still weird, it just fits with the oni form.
Saibaman also used a pimp slap as a _literal_ hand grenade, which is par the course for the comedy on this channel but still funny. Also Piccolo doing a shot-for-shot recration of Akuma;s Raging Demon attack complete with the pose at the end where the emblem on the back of his gi lit up like the 天 kanji on the back of Akuma's gi was hilarious and awesome.
It started bad but after this episode it's even worse. Also where explosion after moving Saibaman a little tiny bit?

I appreciate the uniqueness of the form, more importantly I didn't know how much I needed to see Piccolo do the Raging Demon
I absolutely love the fact that Piccolo admits he knew Gohan-A’s identity and just kept it to himself until now. Even before this new form, it seems he still had the trademark intellectual superiority over Saiyans that Piccolo is known for and I appreciate that remaining true to canon. Now that he has new power and ruthlessness, he might get a bit scary. Those grins certainly were.
Piccolo even scared Emo, and that's saying something!

It shows he could have been a legit asset to team even without his Oni King form, but Absalon and Gohana had to dismiss him (and Emo) at every turn so know he's doing things his way regardless of what they think, he's probably stronger than them too
This truly is the return of the demon king. The "little girl" bit had me practically frozen, he knew since day 1, damn.
That's the thing about piccolos they can read Gohans like a book

I mean sure, we figured it out because we kinda met her before. But piccolo, he KNOWS Gohan. It doesn’t matter what universe or timeline he’s in. A piccolo will always know Gohan. Body language and all that.

You finally gave my man Piccolo his well deserved justice in this episode, Daitomodachi. Well done.
But as part of Absalon's character arc, he made a huge mistake of treating Piccolo as "dead weight" because if his tragic past. Now, he must correct his mistake, and bring Emo's second best thing in his life, before it's too late.

From the way he looks, to the way he acts, Piccolo’s literally on Demon Time now.
I feel bad for Emo now, on top of this Gohanverse shit he was dragged into, the second most important person in his life changed for the worse and will never be the same again, it's a good thing he patched things up with his mom and seems to be getting along with the other Gohans more (albeit time will tell if he isn't mad at Absalon and Gohan-A for pushing Piccolo this far) because he's gonna be more alone than before.
Still, no wonder he is shown drinking until he collapses in the intro, he's probably gonna need it after what happened to Piccolo
This is why I'm questioning why the gohan counsel give him so much shit he literally have to deal with shit he can't controls and he just said fuck up and accept it

Honestly Fuck Gohana, she was being a prick to Emo even though he didn't do anything to her outside of defending himself from Black, what Piccolo did was well desrved
This episode was hella fire and totally worth the wait. Piccolo absolutely schooling Saibamen in the fight along with fresh insults was sooo satisfying to see. When Piccolo went huge to eat Saibamen, my mind couldn’t help but think..”he looks like a cabbage” lol.
The little tid bit with Emo and Absalon was sweet. It showed how Emo didn’t let this tension with his piccolo get to him and the mission. Absalon shared his faults, which is nice that he recognized where he went wrong. Sounded like the day where piccolo died he lost everything. He also wants to prove it to Emo, he can be a lot better-ironically that is when he gets a nasty gut punch from Piccolo. Now I’m guessing, it’ll be up to him to bring Piccolo back to his senses while Emo is the one to complete the mission.
Also Piccolo finding out about Gohana’s identity is just the cherry on top. The finale is gonna be a rollercoaster of emotions.

I just want to say THANK YOU for giving us this strong, smuggy, confident version of Piccolo 😈 💪 . I held my breath each time he gave that devilish smile 🤩 🔥 . I wasn’t sure about the hair at first, but his sudden change of personality in that form is 9000 times better than Toei’s Orange form they gave him. Looking forward for the next episode.
Red piccolo grew on me. I didn't like the hair at first but I have to admit the form is pretty bad ass.

It's gonna be revealed that not only has Gohanna worked for El Hermano the whole time, but she told him about Black's universe, leading to the destruction of that universe, isn't it?

That would make no sense as both her ova and Baby confirm that she didn't start working for El Hermano until after the events of Emo vs Black.

@@KW-de9sc But it is inferred by ep 9 having Baby mention mention their newest recruit which is shown to be Gohana and her ova showing she got recruited shortly after her dispute with Hit, which took place after Emo vs Black and took place far after Black's universe got erased. That said, it is still an inference so my time frame could be wrong and this theory could be true.

I wonder if Piccolo’s new form will inspire other Piccolo’s to either try to achieve the form themselves or get stronger in a different way or well get stronger in general. I have a feeling the moment word gets around about this Piccolo’s new form well I can see this having a big impact on the Multiverse
Even with all the comedic and surreal elements in this series. You managed to do Piccolo far better than canon stuff and yes that includes Super Hero. Not only was Piccolo a menace, he was straight up scary in certain shots. The cinematography was on point.
I love that Hellfire is totally an attack name Piccolo would come up with. Especially after Hellzone Grenade I’m his fight against 17. Such as goated technique

damn that Akuma reference in Akuma it's written in 天 it means "Heaven" or "Top" in case of this Piccolo it's written in 魔 meaning "Demon" so it really fits in Piccolo. Dai always keeps us surprised. Love this show .
ABSOLUTELY. WORTH. THE. WAIT. all i wanted was two things.
1. Piccolo to have his own epic showdown.
2. Piccolo to put both absalon and Gohan A in their place.
I got both those and more in a single episode and i couldn't feel more vindicated. I don't care how strong any gohan becomes, NEVER, EVER, FORGET, where you came from.
Not a single Gohan would ever be as great as they are now if it weren't for piccolo.
My sentiments exactly, when piccolo gut punched and threw absalon, piccolo didn't forget and neither should anyone else forget just whom caused this new transformation.

So King essentially is a more sadistic version of Ultra Ego that also undid every bit of good heartedness that Piccolo developed all the way up to end of the Cell Saga in what seemed to be an instant and fully brought out the demon that was the past life of his evil half like on some Venom crack, and I'm absolutely all about it. I genuinely can't wait to see the full extent of this said curse the form contains and how it'll affect the story! I can't wait till the next episode! You're so amazing!🤘🖤

This Piccolo is badass, but in a friggin' intimidating way to everyone. He seriously shut down Absalon in a blind-side blitz and told him off... And then revealed he knew EXACTLY who Gohana was and that he was just modest... He's got everyone under his boot for the time being.

I love the simplistic, but fierce look of this new form of his. The Oni King is just great and is a return to form for the character Demon King Piccolo.
Piccolo is definitively getting the respect he deserves & love how Piccolo is still the intellectual one to figure out Gohan Alpha’s true identity but that scene & Piccolo’s sinister laugh terrified me. He truly has become a menace & looks like he’s walking down the path of not only his father but Akuma as well.
I'm terrified of Piccolo's new personality, and I love it.

The reference to the Akuma pose was absolutely sick. Loved the fight and the Oni form is surprisingly so fitting for Piccolo. You can tell that you worked hard on the character design for his form (antennas turning into horns, red skin, demonic and unnerving smile). Love it.
I don't have any negative criticisms about the show besides that in episode 11 Gohan A was very hard to hear. That's it. I love the fight choreographies.

One thing from watching the episodes, the hints given up to this point. Does give a factor about Red Piccolo, or the Oni King in general. Piccolo did ate Goku (even though Goku did get himself out of that situation during the world tournament at Earth.) The rage also brought in a cool factor as well. Really am glad about this episode. Finally piccolo fucking won it was so good to see my favorite character take such a huge dub in this. From getting a new power up, to winning a amazingly well made fight to even being able to talk shit other characters and even put them in thier place, it was a real joy to watch. Wonder how the story will go on next
