They actually were good - VERY good!!
This album has made me so much surprised becuase the sound in this album are so much different than their 60's sound.I have never expected The Spotnicks palyed the songs of The Allman Brothers Band. Was The Spotnicks got influenced by Americans so much? Since I loved their 60's original songs, I am now a bit confused how I should swallow their big change in 70's. I appreciate if anyone can explain me what had happened on them at that time.
Times change. Compare The Beatles 1962 to 1970. In just 8 years their music was completely different but still recognisable as The Beatles. And not forgetting that The Spotnicks went through many personnel changes over the years, bringing fresh ideas.
