#succulents
Hullo LG,
Whilst doing the regular rounds,
LG noticed that a succulent frowned.
There was a strong impact,
The soil was compact.
It was a matter of concern,
That's what we got to learn.
The problem is being tackled,
Excellent, well handled.
wow what wordings hahaha frowned actually it was frowning like are you you going to help me or not types ha ha
thank you for watching :)
But my soil base that i ordered online is Succulents and cacti soil mix then i water after a week after repotting from online with air dried process.
Great video brother

👍Thank you for the great n helpful video💚❤
thank you so much for watching 🙂
THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 THAT IS ONE OF MY PROBLEMS WITH MY SUCCULENTS. THEY'RE ALL WRINKLED UP AND WHEN I WATER THEM THE NEXT DAY HALF OF THE PLANT IS ROTTED. THIS WHITE AND GREEN FUNGUS FORMS ALL AROUND THE ROOTS. I WAS VERY CONFUSED BECAUSE I WAS THINKING THEY NEED WATER AND INSTEAD I KILL THEM. THIS INFORMATION IS VERY HELPFUL. 🙂🙂🙂
thank you so much for watching….yes I had this problem earlier when I started 4 out of 5 succulents used to look like this… it can be so confusing actually 🤔
Genius!! Thank you! 🎉
thank you so much for watching 😊🪴

Hi,please do a vedeo on summer care on sacculants at 40 degree
sure mam 😊🪴
It is very heartening to see the succulent revive.Isn’t it very easy to kill it😳L G this video is really great 👍
yes new succulent leaves ,new pups ,new roots everything is so heavenly to see 🙂
Thank you so much. Very useful video. Do you have any experience of cinder.
I will be getting cinder soon but don’t have hands on experience
Lot of ppl do use got a mixed response some said it’s good some said they had pest attack which was surprising as cinder contains some traces of coal but then further asking they said they also added leaf mould so probably that was the case will keep you updated about cinder will probably make a video and see how the experience is will keep the succulent in it for a month or so and see if any positive or negative results 😊
@@LushGardener thanks. As we here have a very high temperature wanted to use cinder. Will be waiting for your video
@@prachisabnis5546 yes I think cinder will be good option I have a frnd from Delhi she uses cinder so far it’s has been good for her with Delhi summer temperature she managed to keep succulents alive 😊
@@LushGardener can you introduce me to your friend. So We can share some experience
When you say garden soil... You say from your back garden?
yes 😊
Useful information 😃. Thank you for another helpful video.
Your succulents are looking great.
I’m very curious about one thing. I recently bought a few new succulents and they were planted only in cocopeat and I must say I was very impressed with how healthy their roots were growing. Is it okay to do that.
so the issue here is the nursery succulents are always planted in cocopeat one reason it’s becomes easy for seller to send them to nursery weight wise it becomes economical as cocopeat doesn’t weigh much and is cheaper compared to any other growing media …secondly as they are constantly transported from one place to another there is huge difference in climate temperatures etc and no is actually there to water it so this cocopeat comes n use for them but …..in cocopeat it’s not that the succulent will die immediately it happens slowly….coz once the succulents reach our place It will take around 3-4 months for them to show signs that they are not happy later the issues will start
Ah! That makes sense. Thank you!
Can the same soil in this pot be amended just by adding more perlite?
yes yes but try to dig carefully from the sides and push the perlite to lock it beneath the soil
Is it okay to do bottom watering in such cases?
no no do top watering..bottom watering won’t be sufficient especially during summers
Hi, I was wondering if Perlite/Pumice dust can have the same effect? I just repotted my cacti and I noticed that my Perlite is very dusty, perhaps I should have* washed it?
no no don’t wash it …perlite and pumice must not be washed …adding water to perlite …the perlite and the dust both will float to the surface unlike when we wash sand the dirt either settles down or when you rinse the muddy water flows off here everything will float and it will be an absolute mess …if there’s too much dust you can just filter it …even if you add it to soil no issue… at times when I order perlite there is lot of dust I just mix it ..but ensure your using a mask when working with perlite and pumice
check this video on perlite ..look what happens when I add water in the glass with perlite

@@LushGardener Thanks for the warning, I will follow that advice!
@@nopesalamandra9144 your welcome glad you didn’t wash it 🙂🪴
Sir my rose grapetoveria is loosing the leaves not bec of the soil bec im using succulents soil as for watering after 10days but still the same😞
hey don’t worry …..what is the soil mix does it contain any cocopeat?
I ordered it online it is a Succulents and cacti soil mix for the base while my pot is clay pot. I check there is no mealy bugs or spider. Im loosing each leaves every week!😢
@@Ok-dw4gz can you send a picture of the plant on my Instagram…. Online succulent mix is usually not that good that’s why I prepare at home
@@LushGardener hi Sir LG no worries Sir as of this evening after work the leaves already fell. its like Autumn in the Summer season😂 the last leaf fell perhaps Im not good in succulents I should try Cacti for a change😂 thanks for your vlog Sir very informative I should have watch your videp first before i bought succulents😞🪴
I use cinder but still my whole tray is wrinkled
which city are you from ,and what’s your watering schedule…are you doing top watering or bottom watering?
@@LushGardener vadodra they recive morning sun only bottom watering and water once in a week .
After noon temp is 43 but they are in shade
@@creativityunknown5241 ok got it ….so couple of things as your from very dry environment I believe….few things cinder is a good option ….but avoid bottom watering you will have to do top watering….bottom watering won’t be sufficient for your environment….however even if you continue bottom watering no harm but then you will have to increase the frequency which can be risky …so best is n you case do top watering yes avoid afternoon sun 43 is too high 😰…
Keep in indirect bright light….and do top watering and see the results wishing you all the best 😊🪴
@@LushGardener thankyou so much ☺️ i will apply the change
