Basically, act 1 was real. Then, we grew up and moved out to another house and then another. Then we started getting paranoid because we lived in the same street when we moved back. That why we saw the thing. When we went to sleep, it seemed like the broken house brought back bad memories from act 1. Then, act 2 and 3 were just a childhood nightmare. And that’s the final game 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭.

Well in the second act you find your self in his basement. That means you actually where in the real life. So act 2 would have to be real.

I think I know what happens.. The reason the neighbor is waiting in that room is because his karma is catching up to him, or in the real world, the police, or authority. He sees you in the window, and wants to say something to you, to apologize, but it's already too late. You've been traumatized, and he knows that. In the real world, they discovered the basement, and the bad things the neighbor did in the house, and burnt it down. I believe the shadow man could be the soul or ghost of the neighbor, that you see evil because he kidnapped you as a child. It's the evil of the neighbor in your mind. He died before he could apologize. He died before you could forgive him.

Obsidious accually the shaddow reprerents fear itself. Because in the so called fear Roms He is represented in all 3 fear rooms. At the end when the neighbour and the shaddow are in the house, means that you have to go and let the neighbour alone with his fears. I hope you can all understand because i am dutch

If that's the case then why in the end in one of the backstorys you see the neighbor putting up missing posters then a truck goes by and the shadow guy is looking at him as he cries? Good theory but doesn't tie up with the backstory

Keep in mind. This did add more story about the neighbor in the end and in the acts. So don’t be upset about everything else because maybe those where scrapped ideas. And don’t blame it on this guy. He is only showcasing the acts and the full game.

So far all I know is that you moved in here, you tried to uncover your new neighbors secrets, you saw to much and the neighbor hid you in his basement. You escaped. Now your older and your visiting the place where you used to live. Both you and your neighbors house are old and dilapidated. You started having flashbacks of the neighbor. You fall asleep. And that’s what your basically doing. Escaping your dream I guess. In your dream your also uncovering secrets. That’s why everything looks so weird. That’s why there’s a giant neighbor. LOL it all makes sense now.
