This is honestly so much better and more powerful than the main game. It tells so much with absolutely no dialogue, like the combination of the music and when the neighbor hugs his kids when coming home without his wife. I think I shed a tear.
I don't think it's better I think it's just there for the back story and more game but it's still alright

Well he tried make the best of himself (idle mode) after locking the brother in the basement.
When the mom's chair fell during the second dinner time, I just knew she died. I honestly feel bad for the neighbor now. And when the girl died because she was pushed by the boy? That was heartbreaking for me. This also explains a lot of things for me. It's truly sad and depressing in so much ways.

This game is great at storytelling. It can tell things through actions rather than just dialogue. I'd say it's better than hello neighbour but they're two drastically different games.

The storytelling in this game is phenomenal
I remember, in a trailer or something, the doll of the girl was falling. And you could see the window. But I think that the doll is supposed to represent the girl, falling at the end.
uwu queen maybe, but remember that the boy threw the girl’s doll of the roof first, before accidentally pushing her off.
I just realized the doll could look like the mom (because of the blue dress) so that’s why the sister is so fond of it. It could also be the reason the brother took it (because he started to cry in his room after he took it)

Truth time ,what we know neighbor has crazy house and keeps something or someone in basement. He went through a tragedy he had a family. My theory in this game we get answers, the begining chapter 1 was just a fun game of hide and seek until chapter 2, the parents are gone, this is when the car accident happens you know the accident we saw in the fighting black ghost thing level (i cant remember the alpha). the last two chapters show us how the children are copig with their mothers death, hide and seek is now an escape for them, the brother is angry and the sister who of course will look like her mother reminds him of the mom so everytime he sees her hes angry with his mom for dying and leaving him. The sisters death was an accident he swung his hand and hit her while turning around. He didnt mean to. This piece of information taken back to hello neighbor tells us that the grave we saw in alpha 2 probably the sisters, the mattress we see in his basement with the teddy and candles hes probably keeping the brother down there cuz the brother may have gone crazy losing his sister an mother. Not wantig to lose is only child he locks him down there, the missing posters are his kids, of course he would have to report them missing pple who know him would notice his children not being around. the neighbors house being wacky to begin with is a part of the childrens imagination, and they have an awesome imagination if i must say so myself. the falling doll in the hide and seek trailer represents the daughters death and black shadow thing most likely represents the brother. Thats why the neighbor doesnt want us in his basement cuz we'll learn his secret. no evil was ever involved just a family torn apart by tragedy.

There was no time, when she fell off, it was already too late. Also the brother was probably in a state of shock, so even if it was possible too save her, he probably wouldn't be able to move or even begin to realize what just happened until it was too late.
