- Join us as we visit Napa Rose at Disneyland Resort's Grand Californian Hotel in Anaheim, California, and try the most expensive steak on the Napa Rose menu. Our dinner included a bread service ($18), Smiling Tiger Salad ($30), Herb Potato Gnocchi ($29), Baja Striped Bass ($68), and Black Angus Filet Mignon ($74). We were too full for dessert! Napa Rose is the finest dining experience at Disneyland resort, and we thought it was well worth it, despite the high prices at Disney.

$74 for a steak of that quality does not sound bad, when you consider the $18 for bread and butter. Those used to be free at most places. I have seen in recent videos that more restaurants charge for it now. Kind of sad.
The way Derek’s eyes 👀 open up when he eats something he likes never gets old🤣 Priceless!!!👍🏽
Catherine is so lovely. What a treasure. Wouldn't it be just amazing for Disney to lead America forward and reduce it's prices by 50% Lead with commercials announcing that Disney wants to fight inflation to welcome all. Where is the Disney MAGIC?
Corporations are beholden to inflation like everyone else. Perhaps they could do as you suggest for limited time but it’s govt putting us in this situation! 😡
Greed
@@gregdrivesdriver5104 disney is the elite (illuminati). disney does not care about us and wants to destroy us in every way. No way will disney give us a break it is profits first.
Disneyland everything is so expensive, it’s a shame! I wouldn’t pay those prices ever. You two are brave.
Holy crap you guys are still together!! I haven’t seen a video from you guys in a long time! Good job!! 🎉
I love the way your face turns, when you enjoy what your eating
Love your videos and the food looked exquisite. Dereks eyes when he eats makes me laugh everytime! 😂 keep being you together you have it all..😊
Always enjoy your reviews and your video blogs. Both you and Catherine are such a loving couple watching you. Enjoy your food. Makes me want to try the same things when I'm over there.
It all looks superb!
The steak looked amazing. Thanks for sharing this video!
No fish is worth that much max 48.00 seabass is nothing special, highly overpriced compared to the steak
Mmmm looked so good. Great choice guys! 😊😊😊
I love Deerek's eyeball roll!!! Bon Appetit!!
A few things to note, love your channel and the food presentation was really good and by your reaction they all tasted great. The prices are eye watering which would make that meal only for special occasions. Lastly, I wouldn't be caught dead anywhere near Disney, I just can't deal with the craziness and the crowds.
Everything looked wonderful.
Looked amazing❤
Great review!!
RIP OFF!!! Go to a family owned business please
The prices are just too outrageous to like any of it. To start, $18 for bread is greed. Disney hard at work again.
That looks great, both of them!!
Definitely a special occasion place. Everything looks delish!
Thank you for posting this video. I'd recommend the Prime Rib at Earl's Tavern in Downtown Disney just outside of California Adventure. In a few years there will be a new steakhouse and BBQ restaurants coming to Downtown Disney. I hope to try it when it's built.
This was good but I promise you, that is not the most expensive steak at Disneyland. However, to try the more expensive food, you have to be a member of the exclusive Club 33.
Loving the Disney content :)
I am not a medium rare steak guy per say. I am more closer to medium. Just me I guess. I have been to Disney World 3 times each time staying a week on the grounds. Each visit we made our dinner meals at nicer places. Sometimes it was great and sometimes not so great. Now breakfast, well that was always awesome and worth every penny. Plus I got to meet Goofy who is actually a pretty cool guy. Great Job!
Enjoy your videos and get a kick out of the taste reaction 😄. Wouldn't pay that kind of money for what I saw. True Disney overprice.
Let me start by saying I really enjoyed the video and you both doing great and different experiences. As do the meal and this is only my take on it. It comes down to atmosphere, ambiance, the servers, location and prevention of the food. I have had $90 steak, $60 fish, $89 lobster and I learned that my son who is a chief can and has turned out just as good if not better steak, fish and salads for less than half the price of Disney land. The key word in the cost is Disney. I’m sure you both had awesome food for much less but it’s the experience and thank you both for bringing that to us. Love your videos, you’re both awesome.
I miss Steakhouse 55 in the Disneyland Hotel. They had the best steaks.
18 for bread that's crazy!, everything way overpriced
Agree 100%
Its really not the food but the experience, I guess….thx guys.
I like you guys and your content but I loathe Disney in all aspects so I'm gonna have to skip this one.
I’m with you. Disney is disgusting
Loved this! Both selections looked amazing! A little pricey, but everything in your meal looked top notch!
They should update the interior of that restaurant.
Looks great. May try it once to see if it is worth the price.
I know most high end restaurants charge for bread but $18?!?!?! That better be the best bread ever.
Napa Rose is my favorite restaurant at Disneyland 😋
Wow you guys excellent!
Love you both! ❤
As a home chef and a gorilla grocery shopper, my monthly food costs are equal to your cost for this one dining experience. Last night was a thick grilled salmon fillet with grilled eggplant and zucchini from the garden. Later today will be slow smoked baby back ribs with a chilled green chile and tomato salad also from the garden.
The food looked delicious but the prices were ridiculous! Love your videos keep them coming.
That filet is perfect 👍
Looked good, we did the Chefs Table there years ago. It is expensive but everything we’ve ever had has been amazing flavor. Thanks!
Food looked good. The empty place spoke about the bad pricing. No person feels great about eating a $74 dollar 6 ounce steak, but it looked very nice.
Thx. for sharing
I agree with Derek about The NY Strip Steak instead. Everything looked good though 😋
Total bill $245.67. I'm not American and happily we don't do "tipping" here, so if i go to a place like that in America how much "tip"am i supposed to add on? And that's it, right? You don't need to add a tip onto the tip, or tip the people at the next table, or go to the kitchen and tip the cook and the dish washer too, right?
Good video. Nice couple. 💘
Napa Rose is a fantastic restaurant. Carthay Circle is the other fantastic restaurant. Back in the olden days, Steakhouse 55 was in this league also.
I wouldn't eat there. I've been to Disney Land. TURISTA PARADISE
I would love to taste the blackberry relish 🤩
Would love to see some standard price food shared
My thoughts only on Anything Disney; Over the last 20 plus years it’s gotten so expensive I don’t even know how a family can afford it anymore. Sure I’ve been there Years ago and would never go back. Outrageously overpriced and not at all what Walt Disney intended. The properties do employ a great amount of people.
Thank you Always Derek and Catherine. ❤ Enjoy each and every video.
I don’t do Dismal Disney, but the food looked incredible. I would get any of the dishes, except the filet. I think I'd rather have the Prime Rib End Cut at Blue Bayou restaurant inside Disneyland. The Monte Cristo there was great too!
I'd love to go here if Disney had better overall management!
Think I’d pass on the fish . But damn the steak looked amazing ! That’s why I love you guys ! Thank you for being you !
Lookz amasing
compared to reviews of NYC steakhouses I've watched, $74 is not bad.
I had a $26 filet yesterday.
I just had the 2nd best Pizza in Maui at Pizza Madness in Kihei ❤. Aloha 😊
I like when Dereks eyes get big lol
That was cool how the waiter held the camera up and said the date Sept. 4-- that's like a new thing in these videos. or probly not lol only at Disney!👍😅
Sorry that fish was not worth that
$68 for Bass? dream on.
I hate when people compare what you can buy in a supermarket and what you get in restaurants
It's dumb comparison
But I am going to be dumb .
Fish is one of few food items that has weathered inflation as it is not that much more expensive now than it was before covitt .for $ 68 in store, you would be eating fish for a week. ,$ 18 for bread!
My God. These prices are crazy, and I’m not a cheap person.
Horrible prices
thx for video
Prices are like this all over California. This is not unusual unfortunately.
Delicious
Very interesting video and the food looked great, but what was the total of your bill?
Bread service + Disney = $18 rip-off. Those prices are typical for a company whose food and entertainment is mediocre at best.👎👎 Two thumbs down for another Disney disaster.😑
I’ve eaten there about 10 times and it’s a 6/10 I always leave hungry not a prime filet and extra small portions
Please review Houston's in Pasadena.
I really enjoy your videos. There were no sides with either meal? They could have given you some mashed potatoes!
Only took about 3 years, but we finally got Derek OFF of MEDIUM!?*
Of course its tender, its raw 😂😂😂
the noise, the open area, small portions, whew....I'd rather be on a lake cooking for myself...
The rib eye is the steak I had there at Napa Rose
Thanks guys. But I enjoy the flavor of good beef and quality fish. So all those foo foo sauces would be a detraction for me. I mean if it's top quality why try to gussy it up so much?
Thankfully the food was excellent in taste and presentation and, that's the most important part. Unfortunately, for a Disney restaurant, its dining room is dated and the constant clanging of dishes and kitchenware is disruptive. The magic in that area is definitely gone.
thanks for wearing a shirt….
food was amazing…i’m kinda surprised
When ya coming to Calgary guys ?
Looks bigger than 7 ounces to me
The most expensive steak at Disney would cost $7.99 at Ellis Island with some slot and table play.😂
$18 bread. No thank you
Catherine, we need a Pumpkin Spice/Fall Flavors coffee chain comparison video!
I love yall
This is just a review. Something that most of us would never do.
Yesss I'm having steak tonight
One thing I don't like is a spattered plate design. Looks messy to me. And I don't like any "foam" looks like spit.
Lol I fully expected the price to be double that
No one got to fat or old looking. Great job!! Hope you make more videos.
no need to roll your eyes when you take a bite.
Fillet mignon looks yummy. Interior of that place is dated.
for that kind of money for that steak I'd expect darker lighting or at least a kiss on the lips when they bring it to your table.
Is the bread replenishable?
Disneys restaurant in Pirates of the Caribbean is better in my opinion
Appreciate your work and sharing, but I seriously doubt your bass was fresh. Nor the filet. That would go against the Disney profit model. Nothing against you guys. I have been to Disney at least 25 times over 40 years. -World and -Land with friends and then relatives and finally with my wife and 4 kids. Disney is just a disgusting place to visit unless you like endless drama and throwing money in the ocean. Sorry, but that's me. Oh btw, all the drama was by other visitors and/or the staff.
Wait until you try Club33
7 oz filet for $74. No way.
Disney has become a rip off.
It sounds like you’re next to the kitchen.
