hi ,, i have a problem . i delete word and download a new version so when i opened the word to finish my writing the citation is gone ( i mean it showed like a normal words not a citation ) and when I use insert bibliography no referances shown ! , it hard to rewrite everything cuz till now i insert atleast 100 citation .. so can you help me please ..

Did you try opening mendley and try updating it?
@HaiderNiaz when I contacted Medeley, they said it was because I uploaded the document to google drive. They claimed google drive deleted the document's metadata

How can i show the full name of journal. As u can see your new reference also doesnt type the full name of the journal it should be "Applied Energy" not "Appl energy". How can i resolve this? because i got to many references to fix eventhough in mendeley itself i have type the full name but it still only show half half name.
You have to edit the meta for this.

What do you mean by copy from Mendley? What are you trying to do?
Please I have uploaded an article in mendeley but once I want to reference a particular sentence it says no author or it doesn't appear in the list provided, please can anyone assist me
You have to sync the mendley library. Also make sure in word you are looking in the right library where you uploaded the files.

I have been using Mendeley for years. And, I will suggest you to please make a video about the manually creat a reference style through Mendeley Editor. It will be helpful for students writing thesis with very unique reference style not available already in Mendeley search.

Hey, whats the error? Try closing mendley and opening again.
@@HaiderNiaz thank you for your reply i tried everything i close my word file and make a copy with new file the cite work then if i tried to use IEEE citation it stops working
Thats strange. Maybe reinstall the Mendley, its wierd that its doing like that.
HI, I have a problem with the new Mendeley ref manager. How do you start a sentence after importing a citation as it seems to go into the 'box' and becomes part of the reference? Any help please? Thanks
Just make sure when you are typing it doesnt shows a box around

Sir, I have problem with journal name, it doesn't cite the full name of journal but only, short cut of journal, how to solve this problem
An example of that, Applied physics it show only appl phy like this
It must be the way it shows. Check the relevant journals published papers and see if it does the same way

Normally if mendley panel is missing in word, you can try installing mendley for word again. It then shows. Thats a glitch, I dont know why they didnt resolve it yet. Let me know if it helps.

In my current version of menedeley, there is no option of “related” to search similar paper just by one click. How to solve this ?
Bilal bhai its because of a recent mendley update. You have to install a previous version than your current one.

Hi, it was really helpful and impressed with the esay explanation. But I struggle with majorly 2 problems with mendeley still.
1. when I drag (import) the file to mendeley destop,the file appreas with different title name and all the information are completerly different than what i originally imported
2. sometimes the citations comes in different language than what actually the language is and the content are different. i would like to show you the picture of it but i could not upload it here.
can you please help me with solving these 2 issues, will be very glad.
Thanks. Yeah it happens when you import the contents using pdf files. So when you open a paper in Elsevier. Dont open pdf to export citation, rather use the main page to get the citation. This will help solve the problem.

Oops thats very rude. Please watch the video properly, dont skip and youll find a solution. Broken references are meant to be fixed from the source in your mendeley library. If you have question would be happy to help, but not with this rude behaviour Tarik Ul Ilsam brother.
