- SK 35C Draken mil s/n 35810 - SE-DXP captured at a beautiful day at Örebro Airshow 2017. This is one of my favorite airplane. Just look at the delta shape :) Also one of the best sounding jetfighters. Operated by Swedish Air Force Historic Flight.

Draken is one of those jets that when your first see one you just think 😍😍😍
This is one of these airplanes that diserves a place in a museum... of design! Right next to Concorde, the Lockheed Constellation and the Spitfire! I remember building the Airfix kit when I was a kid (the Viggen too, but less graceful, I think). Yet, it's way better where it belongs: in the air! So nice to see these still flying. Nice camera work, too.

The "Draken" definitely is amongst the coolest looking fighters of all time and that's even before considering that this thing first flew in 1955! Not even the "Gripen" manages to make it look old, unbelievable!

Sweden's SAAB somehow had perfected single engined jets, a feat not even achieved by the Russians' Sukhoi or the Migs. The US had only 1: in the form of F-16s. Sweden's prized achievement in this regard is the JAS-39 E/Fs in present scenario.
There was many single engined American jets! On top of my head: F-104 Starfighter, the Delta series, Sabre and Super Sabre, A-4 Skyhawk... And today the F-35 Lightning II. The F-104 is certainly my favorite despite its gloomy reputation of being a widow maker.
