Utah is so beautiful! Also, I grew up all my life in MI, and love my 4-seasons, to the exception of the frigid temps that were currently experiencing 😱
I live in Utah and the life here is so much slower and calm than Cali. That's why i love it, its better to raise the kids here.. we love camping and here are to many places to go to, we have lakes too and we love all outdoorsy stuff. Is cheaper than cali and less traffic too. You waste to much time of your life in California traffic

And the outdoors is breath taking! But the culture really is Mormon based! (I bet you guys saw at least one Mormon church every block) 😂 There’s alot to do, even though many say there isn’t!! Hope you guys bring the entire family soon and enjoy what the outdoors has to offer! 🥰
Been living in Utah all my life Pros: you enjoy all 4 seasons the REAL way, calm, family friendly environment , we have a lot of outdoors activities, beautiful scenery, national parks Cons: conservative culture, limited nightlife and entertainment, restrictive alcohol laws, everyone is moving here, it’s growing.
Hi Wendy, I live like 40mins away from Salt Lake. I saw your ig stories that you were here in Utah but that Weekend we were all sick 🤒 I moved from CA to Utah 4yrs ago. And for me, Pros. Gas prices are cheaper, during summer it’s not as hot as CA . During go fall it’s beautiful, because of all the fall colors and the weather is perfect. Cons it’s colder and winter is longer here, also the snow it’s nice but aveces se pasa lol Que bueno que vinieron. Hay muchos museos and different places where you can go to with the kids 😊

Omg you guys stayed right next to my local winco :) I live in Murray which is like 5 minutes from there. I wanted to go look for you guys but my husband said to stop being wierd 😂🥲 we moved here from LA in 2018. It was such a culture shock for us because like you said we didn’t notice many Hispanic people here and so many things revolve around the Mormon culture. For the most part everyone is super friendly and welcoming. We wanted to move back but after having our 1st baby two years ago we want to raise him here. Life is so much slower here and calm compared to what I was used to in Cali. We visit LA 2-3 times a year because all our family is out there but we get homesick quick and want to come right back. Also the healthcare system is so much better out here(random but it’s something big I noticed) Hopefully you guys come again soon ❤
