Heavens is a band I learned existed through a girl I was with years ago... a heavy, involving relationship. I remember seeing a poster on her wall before we started getting serious. It said, "Love Will Tear Us Apart," and depicted a morbid, bloody scene. I'm assuming the poster was for Joy Division. I wasn't even aware of the song, let alone that band at the time. Now I realize the direct reverberation between the song and our time together. While lust brought us together, love tore us apart.
@MHoppus69 I know, it's such a shame. I will admit, though, I think I (personally) like Alk3's sound better. Matt Skiba's voice is just so amazing, I can't help but love Alk3 best. (I take it you're a Blink 182 fan?)

I love alkaline trio but heavens just hit different. The whole album from beginning to end. Love it.
