Two reasons I love this scene. 1) This 'club song' reminds me of the time you enter the Afterlife Club in Mass Effect 2, with how much it oozes atmosphere and blends so well with the visuals. 2) The music's minor tone communicates SO DAMN WELL the stark contrast between Ego's and Yondu's backgrounds and worlds they come from. First you're seeing this paradise Ego's showing off and promising to Peter, and then the movie transitions to Yondu's sad everyday life. I love it.

@@fedialitovchenko you have to read a number of the comics stories and lore to understand. For a while, he was his own independent entity and then later on from around the mid 2000’s Marvel incorporated him into the Guardians franchise but Steve Gerber before his death in 2008, had fought Marvel comics over rights since he was the one who made the character along with Val Mayerick who also helped make the character as well. It runs more deep than most people realize.
It’s crazy to think the Third film released before this song.
The Planet Contraxia is one of the coolest planets in the MCU.
This melody is insanely addictive ❤️✨😭

Everyone saying they like Howard Duck, but I don't know why. I don't know the story if him
