Best lap this Mcc: 1 min 38.70s
Best 4 laps: 6 min 49.90s
So the optimal run is about 6% faster.
So Callum did an amazing Ace, first time ever he played it he did so good that the best time of everyone only was 6% faster :O

I just love how many shortcuts there are that are still undiscovered.

I feel like there is one shortcut that was missed in this video; it seems hard, but entirely possible, and I think a little easier than the thimble like jump mentioned at 3:20.
at about 8:29/8:30 I believe you can use the jump pad to make the small gap on the right rather than going around on the left, you definitely get enough forward momentum to get to the platform and you just get enough height to not clip the top of the cave while still making it onto the platform.
The second skip definitely seems possible but very hard to do
You can see the first skip through the waterfall. Idk if it makes any difference in time but I agree with you.

I'm pretty sure there is a possible skip that can save like 2-3 seconds at 5:10. If you use the red jump boost to go right in between the wood and the side of the mountain you can instantly jump towards the end, i think. Not sure if anyone tested this

Don’t know if it improves it at all but jumping techno was one of the only players to do that and he did consistently good

During checkpoint 2, I think there is a potential shortcut through the right side of the first wall instead of going left
it is not the dolphins grace that affects the tridents it is the amount of riptide, dolphins grace on speeds you up on water so it doen't help in trident unless you gain momentum but barely getting contact to water doesn't affect trident launch unless riptide changes

he was really consistent and pulled off the final skip to the right twice to beat Sapnap
He also studied the update video to see where the testers' name tags would rise and fall through walls so he could predict what the rest of the maps looked like.
