Tom : Greetings, first of all I wish you a Merry Christmas and thank you for all the knowledge shared with people like me who cannot attend your courses. I know that it is very difficult to keep up with the pace that this platform demands; but I encourage you to share something from time to time, it is very motivating to learn from you. my best wishes

I like it when you have a chat with other photographers in your field, there is always a lot of information and different points of view and genres. The fireplace chat is fun during the Christmas season. interesting video Tom thanks.

Must have been a logistical nightmare hauling all that gear around. The amount of work to produce a couple of images. Well done

Yes, and having to load film holders in the field wasn't easy. Digital photographers that haven't worked with film don't know how easy they have it.

That was a fantastic interview and insight into the world of FILM ( large format) commercial photography. Duncan would genuinely have to imagine his shots, that is an art in itself. We have it so much easier now, but it still requires imagination and vision. Thanks Tom for putting this together and sharing it with us.

Thanks Phil, I'm really glad you enjoyed it. I wasn't sure how this would be received especially as most people are digital now. I thought it might be something different from other RUclipsrs.

Tom love the interview very insightful, I only had one question with the motorcycle Kawasaki ad in Denver what side of the road do they drive on in America isn't it the right side? I noticed that the motorcycles driving on the left and no one caught that interesting?

Loved it Tom! It brought me back to when I was a young Account Executive in a National adverting firm. We definitely did not have the technology that we have today! And….large format did rule!

I really enjoyed this. I didn't recognise Duncan's name but I remembered those ads. If you do more interviews like this, it would be interesting to see an example of their personal work alongside what the interviewee is known for.

I have a client that does a similar kind of work (movie ads and stills for car company ads) so this was a wonderful insight into her world and very interesting for me. Thank you.

Shame on me, I never heard about Duncan :-( But I remember that advertisement, back then I was probably more interested in Johnnie Walker ;-) If you could ever do an interview with David Muench, that would be awesome, Tom. Enjoy the holiday season......
